Just got an II which I am pretty surprised about since I'm out of state--LizzyM 74, complete late August!
I think it was in the ballpark of 250 last year.Does anyone have any sort of idea how many student CU accepts to fill their class of 184? Not necessarily the matriculation numbers, but the acceptance.
SameCongrats on all the OOS II's! Just hoping they show some IS love soon...
Interviews are very laid back! Everyone is very nice and collaborative..and they expect the same from people they are interviewing. You will have 2 30 minute interviews. The interviews do not know your GPA or MCAT score...but do have your personal essays and other parts of your application from what I was told at my interview. Relax and enjoy! Be yourself!II! Complete first week of Sept. I'm OOS too (New York)
This is one of my top choices, so any interview quirks and tips would be much appreciated.
Congratts!! This morning ? And if you don't mind, when were you complete ?Hello! In-state II offered, very excited!
I live in near the Springs area, and I was wondering (for all you other IS applicants) are you planning on staying at a hotel near the school or wake up early and drive?
Thanks!

Interviewed 10/09 I have not heard anything yet either.. super nervousAssuming that the adcom had their meeting on the 30th, do you think we will start to see some movement this week? Interviewed 10/16 and am super anxious.
Correct.Has anyone being outright rejected post-interview via email yet? Or will they hold off on those until December/January?
Were we suppose to receive a confirmation e-mail with our interview date and time after we confirmed it via the link they sent us?

Oh my gosh CONGRATULATIONS!!! ahhhhhh I'm inexplicably so excited for you!!!!ACCEPTED!!!!!!!!!!!
Edit: because someone is bound to ask. LM = 71, interviewed 10/16.
GOOD LUCK!!!
CONGRATULATIONS!!!! that is amazing!AHH!!! The call came!!!... ACCEPTED!
Got in II for mid February, wondering if they're mostly interviewing for The WL that late in the cycle? Anyone have knowledge of this?
Alright... considering I interviewed 10/9..it is safe to assume that I am in the alternate list? No, you're not interviewing for the WL. Interviewees not accepted 1 month after their interview date are placed on an alternate list and more recent interviewees are considered on their own merits and then stacked against previous applicants. If they view you more favorably you get accepted. The wait list isn't officially completed after they've interviewed everyone.
Also, from what we were told, you will be re-reviewed farther down the line so you might receive an acceptance later in the cycle, rather than getting off the wait list.

Thanks for the info though..it makes a lot of sense.

CONGRATS on getting accepted! I actually interviewed with an MS4 this year and a retired surgeon last year!!I think hindukid said it exactly. I interviewed 10/16 and was accepted this week. Interviews were very casual, first was with an MS4, second with a retired surgeon. For the majority of both interviews they just asked questions about me and wanted to know more about what they read and thought sounded interesting on my application, or about my family and stuff that wasn't on my application. This made the time fly by. I stayed with four MS1 the night before and they all told me that the same thing. They all told me they had the same question, which I was asked too, "Tell me about a time you failed and what did you do after that failure?"
Good luck, you will love it when you arrive, and you will be able to relax immediately! Just be yourself!
Anyone else who got the call on Wednesday still waiting for the email?
Talked to admissions the other day - they're waiting on the admissions website to be updated before sending stuff out.I haven't seen anything hit my inbox yet. I'm stating to feel like it was all a dream?
