I live 30 minutes away and didn't get anything today....unbelievable. My post office has a history of sucking
 
Driving to home very fast to check on the mail - nothing! Just curious, what kind of scholarship are we talking about?
 
Congrats to everyone who got accepted! I also interviewed on 9/14 and my decision is still pending, anyone know why that would be?

If I had to guess...they'll probably review your app again next month (or whenever their next meeting is) and make a decision then for whatever reason. Sometimes these things are impossible for us pre meds to understand 😳 but the fact that you interviewed on the first possible date means you're doing something right so relax 🙂
 
have any california applicants received the mail?? im dying over here!
 
If I get into this school, I will be able to say that I completed my entire education, from pre-school to medical school, at a public Illinois school--and I think that's pretty neat. I desperately want to go here, but honestly I would be satisfied with an interview. I think the committee meets today so I truly hope to hear something in the next week. Don't know how much longer I can hold out.
 
Sorry if this has already been asked, but if the committee meets today to decide who to send IIs to, when can we expect the actual IIs to go out?

What black magic do you possess that you know this? I actually just called the admission dept of another school and was told that everyone was in a meeting. Wonder if Tuesday is the day across the board.

Haha I didn't know about it until I read @bananafish94 's post,
 
Last year committee met on certain Thursdays. And based on when people saw status changes recently, I'm thinking it's the same this year.

I was told by a current med student that it's Tuesdays. Also, they close down the portal on the night of the first Tuesday of each month, which I assumed was to update the status. Then again, nothing really makes sense in their world so my guess is as good as any.
 
Has anyone gotten an acceptance letter today, if so what state are you in?

Also, for everyone who got accepted you all had the additional correspondence tab right?

I'm waiting and haven't gotten anything. Seems like the majority of people who have gotten the letters are IS, so we may be waiting a while 🙁.
 
Did anyone else just get an email from UIC stating that their Fall 2016 term has been updated with a decision?
