My PI works in MD/Ph.D admissions and was talking about the process with me, and I'm assuming that MD admissions are similar. He says that they interview people, score their application, and every time they meet they have a certain score above which automatically gets an acceptance, and below which gets a waitlist. Every subsequent week the threshold score for acceptance gets a little bit lower, which explains why people are often accepted months after their interview. But seeing as they are done with interviews and this is their last month for their regular meeting, I don't see a possible reason why they wouldn't decide on everyone at this time.
Buddy of mine got an interview and acceptance in June 2 years ago... I just really don't believe that they have finished interviewing if you want me to be honest ..
