Haha I guess we have opposite perspectives. I grew up in a small town and Madison is the largest city I have lived in. Unlike what I have experienced in Chicago and NYC, everyone is super friendly and outgoing. There is always something public to do whenever you are bored, and we have a great sense of community. Some of my partner's family lives near Madison. I've heard good things about it. UC isn't /bad/ per se....it's just... small? And far from everywhere.
On topic: I was browsing the website and noticed that Urbana requires iClickers. Does this mean that lecture is required there. I remember being told that it wasn't when I interviewed at Chicago because I didn't fit into the seats at the lecture hall
