Status on the secondary website still says "complete and under review"—does this mean anything relative to II? Should the status change if an II is forthcoming?

Where are you guys seeing the status? I submitted my app on July 3, and when I go to details under ApplyWeb, application status, it still says "Payment accepted, form submitted successfully". I also see that I have 1 submitted app and 1 unsubmitted app. I think it's because I reopened the secondary application after submitting. Not sure if that's a problem or not...

Having both is not an issue, it's a glitch in the system. If you click "View Checklist," there should be a status message that appears and a section to upload additional files (optional).

I'm gonna check since I'm bored at work, but pretty sure last cycle the same thing happened - a certain day (or date range) was announced as the day/s when the first IIs would go out, but they fell behind of schedule. Considering the amount of applications schools get, it happens!

Totally understandable, but still such a tease, haha! We wouldn't be so neurotic about this if UMich had kept quiet about it. 🙂

So I just checked, last year an announcement was posted on Twitter around mid-May, saying the first interview offer will be made 7/7 2:40pm. The date was later moved to 7/15 and some SDN posters did indeed get IIs that day.

Same here, actually. I'm one of those hopeful (perhaps a little too hopeful) OOS applicants with meh stats but really good ECs, so I won't be surprised if I don't get one of the first IIs, or just any II from Michigan, period. But until then, I shall remain hopeful!

Hey so I'm not able to input my AMCAS ID or pick an application type on the "personal information" part of the secondary. The space is gray and when I hover my mouse over it becomes red. Anybody else run into that issue?

Did this happen to anyone else? I also experienced the same thing.

If I remember correctly, this is all info that Michigan took straight from your AMCAS application so you do not need to input it. It should say somewhere that grayed out boxes mean they already have that information.

Just checked my portal/submission, there is an optional "Is there any other information you would like to provide to us at this time?" section. I don't remember the character limit, though.

Verified through AMCAS? Heard the wait is 4 weeks now? Hopefully it's close for you! I think the worst part is the waiting...just waiting.
