Well, I'm one of those people who haven't gotten an email for the secondary, the II invite, the post-II hold, so I have no idea when anything is going to happen, haha

I know SDN != every premed in America...but seriously - not a SINGLE acceptance post??? I almost WANT to see one, just so I can kick out the idea of the 16th being the actual day.

Either that, or...I can go mug a pizza delivery guy, steal his uniform, hack the Internet to find the address of an ad-com member, 'accidentally' deliver to the wrong address, then just casually drop a line about, 'Sooooo...those acceptances. Did that happen today? Or will it be tomorrow?'

Sorry, this question was probably answered before but does the post-II "hold" status appear only after the survey? I completed the survey just now but I couldn't find my status anywhere...

I interviewed the first week of December and got the hold message this past Friday. During my interview they said I'd hear early this week

Yeah, my girlfriend asked to go to this sushi place. I thought, "Sure, if I get accepted." Then i thought, "**** it, we'll go either way." Then, this happened, so I went anyways.. Lol.

I called yesterday and the lady said I should hear something Wednesday...Are they just giving me a hold status then or am I getting my hopes up?

So the magic day is Wednesday!?! The portal was glitchy in early fall, so if the person on the phone looked you up and said you'd hear something Wednesday, then you should have been presented to the full committee and scored. They just may not have entered the score in the portal, which shows up as the post interview hold. Good luck!

From previous posts it looks like it could go either way. Some ppl have gotten the hold the same day as an acceptance, or it could also be the hold status. Either way, it's good and not a rejection! 😀

I finally made it out of "sub-committee review" purgatory - sort of - by receiving the 3rd tier status on Monday. Since they say they're going to consider my file over the next several weeks and review it again, do you guys think I would be able to send them an update document of the stuff I've been up to during my gap year? I know they're not generally receptive to correspondence and not transparent about the process at all, but I feel like if they're on the fence about my application and want to review my file again, they might want to have information that could push them one way or another. I don't want to annoy them or anything, though... it's so stressful 😕

Interviewed on 12/7. Called this afternoon about whether I am going to get a decision notice since there is no notification of a post-subcommittee hold. I was told that my file has not only been reviewed but I will receive my decision after 6pm EST. So don't lose hope if you haven't been updated yet for a post-subcommittee hold.
