Have your letter writer or service resend the letter to AMCAS. AMCAS automatically replaces the letter if it has the same letter ID and makes it available to the school. It takes a few days for BU to receive it and correct the hold.

Okay awesome! One more question, will AMCAS notify me when the letter has been received (just like the normal process?) And should I email BU to tell them that I have updated the letters as soon as AMCAS has received or should I wait for a couple of days?

Yeah, they will email you again. I sent BU a message through their portal a few hours after the AMCAS email and received a message a few days later saying that they removed the hold. I don't think it matters exactly when you update them because they won't be able to fix anything until they see the new letter.

Hi, frchuatritons: Does BUSOM offer campus visit, like speak with a current medical student? I am talking about before the interview date. Online website only give out info about where to go, where to park.

No campus visit before the interview, unless you want to tour it yourself. When you interview, a medical student can house you, and you will have plenty of opportunities to speak with M1s and M2s during the lunch and a M3 or M4 who will be giving the campus tour during your interview.

Is BU rolling admissions? Only wondering because they say earliest acceptances go out in January, so I'm wondering if those who interview in November/December have the same chance as those who interview earlier. Any one know?

(I don't have an II from here, but I submitted the secondary pretty late so just wondering )

Prob a few weeks (2 the earliest). But my friend also got an II three months after submitting secondary. I think it's beneficial to get a II before end of November, but it's not a death sentence if you don't and have to interview in January.
