Ah, I thought it meant that was the time he called someone unknown. I dunno, I'm kinda stressed and not thinking well so excuse me haha.

Well, no matter how it turns out I'm really just thankful to have even interviewed. And again, congratulations to everyone accepted!
 
How about EGG (E-G G)? No news?

Pretty much bracing for a waitlist or rejection at this stage, but miracle does happen! Do they call using their personal cell phone or university phone? Received a missed call but it was not from a NYC number.

I also am waiting on E-G G and haven't heard anything. I think the two of us are the only ones so far that have posted re: waiting on her, so I'm not sure what to make of it. I guess we'll see tomorrow when the portals update! Fingers crossed the two of us get a call tomorrow! Wish you the best of luck.
 
How much need/merit based aid is Columbia known to give out?

Anybody know when they let us know aid decisions?

Received my (extremely pleasant) rejection this morning. I had already assumed I was not getting an interview this late.

Agreed, even though I was rejected, I felt like this email was very kindly worded. Plus I have been accepted elsewhere and had a few other interviews so I'm not too too sad about the outcome

If you dont mind me asking, what time did your e-mail arrive in the morning? I can't find mine anywhere :/

To be clear, both of you did not receive an II and are being rejected pre-II? Has anyone been rejected post-II yet? Best of luck to both of you, and congratulations on your other acceptance! I'm sure you'll make a fantastic doctor!

Actually, mine arrived a couple of days ago. It seems like it wasn't all at once, either...so to the guys complaining about the acceptance calls being not all at once, not sure if sending an email would solve it either haha

Yes I can say for myself I was pre-II. It looks like @ChrisMack390 was too
 
Has anyone officially been waitlisted yet?

And, does anyone know how many students get in off the WL on average?

EDIT: I just got a call from him now, haha. I'm not sure he knew about the portal, so I tried to convey an appropriate degree of surprise...

I'm hoping the same thing. No one has mentioned being called by my interviewer in the past 3 yr's threads, and I know he interviews a bit, so I'm hoping that he just doesn't call. Fingers crossed for both of us!

No phone call, no email, no portal update here, but this means hope is still alive...
