I was accepted to Hofstra about 2 weeks ago and am committed to that school. It's close to home so I'll be commuting and I'm familiar with the Northwell Health system. I also really like their curriculum over Stony Brook's. I saw no point in staying on a waitlist for a school I won't go to. So that's why I withdrew. I did the same for Downstate.
