If I have not been offered a phone interview and it has been almost a month from experience review completion, do you think that's a rejection or should I continue to hope?

imo, way better than an outright rejection

SAME. They took one day to go through my experience review and I haven't heard anything yet. womp womp.
 
Experience review complete 8/22 after 3 weeks. Hope to hear good news!

It's interesting, our dates are exactly the same (8/2 review start, 8/22 finish, 8/23 phone interview consideration). I wonder if we were reviewed by the same person hah. When were you complete?
 
Experience review started on 8/2 and completed on 8/22. I got an email saying:

"Your application has completed the Experiences Review step in the application review process at Western Michigan University Homer Stryker M.D. School of Medicine and is now under consideration for a Telephone Interview. The Telephone Interview is unique to WMed and is designed to give you the opportunity to showcase your personal attributes. Telephone Interview invitations are extended on a rolling basis and you could be invited at any time in the cycle."

Looks like there were a few of us on this same time frame. When were you complete?

Just speculating here, maybe the interviewers group us together by category/similarities in our application and then evaluate us. I'm probably wrong but it just helps explain the apparent randomness of the whole process 😛😉

I have had my experience review complete for three weeks and I still have not gotten a telephone interview...I am OOS so that may be hurting me...

I know everyone will say it's early and it's not over till it's over, but my experience review has been done for 6 days and I haven't gotten one. Yes we all want to get in somewhere, but this is my #3 overall. I was really hoping for that phone interview 🙁

Yeah.. I've been sitting in post-review limbo for a month now. It is definitely too early to panic.

Residency does not matter, unless you went to K College or WMU for undergrad.

Telephone interviews goes way late into the admissions cycle. 3 weeks is a relatively short time frame.

I phone interviewed 8/13 and didn't hear anything. Should I assume the worst? 🙁

I had my phone interview on 8/15 and I haven't heard either. It appears we missed the first round of campus II's, but we are still in consideration for future campus IIs.

More info: I received the secondary 8/16 and just now logging in to complete it, but I can't access it for some reason

Not sure from personal experience, but I was reading through this thread earlier and it seems a few other people are in the same boat as you so I wouldn't feel too bad! At least you were able to complete your secondary lmao, how did you do it?? the website looks weird for me
 
Okay here's the solution to access the secondary for the first time because I'm probs not the only one and if I am well ....oh well lolol, when you get to this screen press new application, don't log in on this form and then on the next page your "pin" is the username they sent you

Pre-emptive "if you haven't received a phone II or onsite II, don't panic" post.

It is super early in the cycle! There are people who are accepted at every single interview days. You won't be interviewing for a waitlist position even if you get the very last interview date in March or so.
 
Regarding their interview process, when they say "a personal 1-on-1 interview as well as a structured interview" I assume the latter means an MMI right?
