My status says "Interview: not scheduled yet." with a little lock icon. Is that what they all say?

I received the email 1 day after submitting the secondary (submitted 8/24, received complete email 8/25).

Lol definitely agreed. Hopefully it means we'll one day get an interview haha
Yeah, it's not super informative, I just always look for some kind of recognition that my app is complete after I submit, so I know I'm not missing anything. So with the absence of a complete email, I always look for a status tab in the portal.
do u know approximately when you got that email?
I received the email 1 day after submitting the secondary (submitted 8/24, received complete email 8/25).
oh so maybe i should call.. technically not 24hrs yet tho cuz i submitted at around 12am this morning
I am sooooo annoyed.. .I just want some news 🙂
Howard encouraging our neuroticism by labeling Interview as "Not Scheduled Yet" rather than "Pending Application Review" like most other schools.
anybodys portal saying that the site has been hacked?

I'm having no issues on my end. What exactly is it saying on yours?
Says the connection is not private and that the website may be impersonating "apply.medicine.howrd.edu" to steal your personal or financial information.
Can somebody post the link to the secondary, something might be off with mine
Oh...that. Yeah, mine has been doing that since the beginning (using Chrome web browser). I've had to bypass the message every time I access my application.
and no hack yet?? I'm Siromas Approved ima go for it lol !
Asking Anything:
I literally just noticed today that HUCM prereqs require 6hrs of Math, my university required only 3. I have 4hrs from the math department, but I also took Quantitative Methods (4hrs) which is basically a statistics class tailored to psychology. Is this a difference you think the admissions committee will accept?
Received an interview invite. Will be the first one I will do. Super nervous
Apparently Howard folks are some of the most easy-going, chilled and supportive...they invite you--they want you...especially this early of an interview invite. Enjoy. You're Gold.
I really hope, but i've seen some people on SDN in my years of lurking make it to the interview and not get accepted. Thanks for the support.
Lol, i'm still completing secondary apps. I said if you have the cash then go for it. I finished most of my apps the last week in August and I seem to be ok.
Congrats!! Stats?
When were you complete?
He is trolling you guys lol.

Damn, i am starting to believe that Howard places more emphasis on the gpa!! Everyone who got a II has had a 3.4+ gpa
Could be? I thought it was based off EC's and interests in working in underserved communities. I stressed that in every part of my application including personal statement plus my EC's backed it up a lot. I have no idea how any of this works. I decided to apply this cycle last minute and on a whim.
I have close to 900 hours of community service, serving underserved communties. I had 600 when i sent my application.
You should be fine. If anything, just try to explain during your interview if you get an II.
Most people in my current class have lower GPAs than that (including me). Of course, it always helps to have a higher MCAT if you have a lower GPA and vice versa. If you have both a low GPA and MCAT, it'll be more based on luck.
Received the secondary screened/reviewed email, a week after submission.
Stats?
congrats, yes stats and complete email date please
MCAT 497 GPA 3.6
Was medical scribe, volunteer EMT, undergrad research experience, and worked for Americorp!
Awesome!!! When were you complete?
When was your complete date?

Happens to me every couple weeks , I just accept the risk and check and nothing bad so far beside continued silence lol
I tried it just now and I guess its secure now because it went right through. Now I don't have to copy my pass from the email anymore, thank you google smart lock!
Meeee...added them about end of September and no secondary yet
They've had my primary since early August and I still haven't received. My committee letter came in late September, so maybe that's what it is, but I'm trying to call them to see if this is normal. I'll let you know what I hear.
