It took a while to get my paper one.
I was accepted 2/2 and received my packet yesterday (2/20)

Though I live in the city so mail takes longer

Honestly I am so confused by the purpose of this "under consideration" e-mail. If I had been waiting for months, I would have hoped for this e-mail, but to send it two weeks post interview seems strange, especially since nobody has posted about A/WL/R's yet.

I wouldn't take this as bad news necessarily! I think someone earlier posted about it, and literally a few weeks later was accepted!

I honestly did not check the portal until after I was accepted. Maybe they sent it and it didn't come through, did you check your spam folder?

Looks like we have a 2/12 interview acceptance and potential a 2/14 (mdhopeful512 said "last wednesday). Although it seems strange that they would do 3 interview days back to back like that? My 2/13 interview had over 40 interviewees and I imagine that volume and frequency would be hard to maintain.

I interviewed on 2/13 and was accepted, but I wouldn't worry too much because I think they said everyone would be reviewed in random order!

I was a 2/14 interview-accept as well. I think they crammed in a ton of IS interviews that week. Also i wouldn't fret if you didn't hear back, they did say that immediately after the interview they randomly assign applicants to committee meeting days and they do send the decision right after it's made in the meeting

Yeah I second that comment. I am in the same boat as you and asked several times to understand what that weird email meant. It means you are on stand by pretty much as other interviews are conducted. They want to compare you to other applicants as time goes on until maybe the subcommittee gives you a second look and hopefully brings you up to the head committee to make a final decision. It can take days, weeks, months. I feel your pain. Hang in there.

sure! I am OOS, interviewed end of Sept, and received mysterious "continuing to review" email beginning of this year.

I believe interviews are indeed done. PURCH definitely and I'm not sure about regular but pretty sure their last date was Feb 23. I hope everything works out. GL!

Hey can i suggest meeting with an admissions counselor? You can ask UMASS or any medical school near you to go over the app with you. Applying costs money my man/woman and better to spot out what you may be lacking

Thank you for the suggestion! I will get in touch with them to see what I can do. I have been in touch with an adviser at my college, but I graduated from college almost 15 years ago. I have been told to apply to one of those special masters programs, but they are very expensive and they don't necessarily guarantee a spot either...but thank you!

Two people previously stated the following, and it seems to be true to experience:

Idk how you guys are waiting. It’s killing me. This is my dream top school and it’s only been 10 days for me....I’m strugglin lol
