What does the "Pushed #" mean?
I think it means the application is on hold, first tier? if you go to view other applications tab, you will see it there. I know some people have pushed 2

Where would it say if you have an II? My portal is a jumbled mess from having 3 transcripts and didnt see where it would show up.

Mine still says 'Pushed 1' and I have an II. The only change was 'Med School in for Review' to 'Med School Invite to Interview' and then a tab to schedule it appears above the 'Photo identification' tab.

I’m a reapplicant and my app from last year says 1 (rejected), my app from this year says 2 (interviewed in August), so my guess was that it’s just whatever # application you’ve sent to their school and is unrelated to tour status.

has anyone stayed or will be staying with a student host? and if so, how long did it take for them to respond to you after emailing them? Thanks

I did! I think it was like a day or two?
Thanks! ahh getting worried cause i emailed about a week ago and havent heard back yet. but im not interviewing for a while so hopefully I get a reply without having to bother them with a follow up email

I would reach out to other students as well, the document on the website was outdated (at least when I tried) so a lot of the people I emailed were no longer part of the host program.

oh wow thanks for the info, will do!

So is it better to have pushed 1 or pushed 2? I've been MR since July 18 and my app still says Pushed 1. Starting to lose hope 🙁

Can someone share a screenshot of the other applications tab? I also don't have/can't find it on my application and am worrying that my app might've had technical issues or something.

Right above your Amcas ID which is on the top line by your student ID. Above that line to the right should say view applications and there you go

Strange. Mine says Pushed 1? WHAT DOES IT MEEEEAN. Haha.

As @nezpas said, I think "Pushed 1" or "Pushed 2" just refers to the number of times you've applied to Wayne. Most of us should be "Pushed 1" since it's our first time applying, while reapplicants would be "Pushed 2." Sound about right? Haha just my 2 cents so who knows!

Oh! That makes complete sense haha. Pushed is such a weird way to word it, especially to neurotic premeds ;P. Thank you!

That can't be correct since mine says "Pushed 5". I have definitely not been through that many cycles lol.

my application does not show a tab for this. and it does not say "pushed" anything anywhere. I've been "Med School in for Review (MR)" since Sep 5th.
509 MCAT, Instate, 3.78 sGPA...
My neurotic pre-med self is telling me to worry but I don't even know why I should worry because no one even knows what "pushed" means sooooo someone with the "pushed" on the application should call and ask. I was going to call but then I don't want them to be like "lets look you up" and then I'd have to tell them that the only reason I know about the push thing is SDN lol.

Also- wondering if browsers have to do with that view applications tab showing up or not showing up.. I tried on chrome and safari and I don't have it.

You can call and say that a friend of yours has the push notification and you were wondering why you do not have it? Just a suggestion if you were really curious and wanted to call!

I have "pushed 1" and I got a very early interview invite and have interviewed already. I think it could be like a hold. Say someone reads your application and thinks you're not an immediate II or an immediate rejection- they "push" your application to be reviewed again later. Then someone else picks it up and reads it- same thing. Until you're pushed back enough to warrant a rejection or someone who gets to your application and really likes it and decides to put it to the committee to decide on an interview invite.

I called. The guy at the admissions office said he didn't know what the pushed means because he doesn't have access to that information. I asked if my application is ok tech wise because I don't have it and he said yeah. So no worries about technology issues to those of you who also don't have that tab. Very mysterious though...

While checking out Wayne State master's programs with a friend, I have a few unsubmitted graduate applications listed on my portal. These unsubmitted applications have the pushed number status in the order they were created.

I'm leaning towards that it's just an awkward way of saying how many applications you have started.

that's what I thought of it too. "Pushed" sounds like a hold for re-review

This doesn't explain the Pushed 5 above lol

I'm not sure why uncompleted and unsubmitted apps would have a pushed status. Oh well lol

What days of the week does Wayne typically interview?

All pushed means is the number of applications you've submitted to Wayne State.

You are probably correct. I had to think about it. I may have submitted that many over the years (not to the medical school). I took classes while in high school and I have more than one degree from WSU. I still think it should say 4 if that's the case.

Just got an interview invite this morning. IS, complete 9/01.

I interviewed here last cycle, got waitlisted then rejected. So I'm surprised to say the least that they're giving me another chance.
Just curious, when did you interview last cycle?

Has anyone been keeping up with the Admissions Tracker? As of now it says 461 interviews have been requested, does anyone know how accurate that is/how often they update it?

Although Wayne can be known for being a bit late on their deadlines, I would bet that many of you early interviewees will hear something next Monday
