What does the "Pushed #" mean?
I think it means the application is on hold, first tier? if you go to view other applications tab, you will see it there. I know some people have pushed 2What does the "Pushed #" mean?
Mine still says 'Pushed 1' and I have an II. The only change was 'Med School in for Review' to 'Med School Invite to Interview' and then a tab to schedule it appears above the 'Photo identification' tab.Where would it say if you have an II? My portal is a jumbled mess from having 3 transcripts and didnt see where it would show up.
you got II yesterday!! this gives me hope lol thank youMine still sayd 'Pushed 1' and I have an II. The only change was 'Med School in for Review' to 'Med School Invite to Interview'
Thank you! July 14th was my complete date.you got II yesterday!! this gives me hope lol thank you
When were you complete?
I’m a reapplicant and my app from last year says 1 (rejected), my app from this year says 2 (interviewed in August), so my guess was that it’s just whatever # application you’ve sent to their school and is unrelated to tour status.I think it means the application is on hold, first tier? if you go to view other applications tab, you will see it there. I know some people have pushed 2
I did! I think it was like a day or two?has anyone stayed or will be staying with a student host? and if so, how long did it take for them to respond to you after emailing them? Thanks
Thanks! ahh getting worried cause i emailed about a week ago and havent heard back yet. but im not interviewing for a while so hopefully I get a reply without having to bother them with a follow up emailI did! I think it was like a day or two?
I would reach out to other students as well, the document on the website was outdated (at least when I tried) so a lot of the people I emailed were no longer part of the host program. Thanks! ahh getting worried cause i emailed about a week ago and havent heard back yet. but im not interviewing for a while so hopefully I get a reply without having to bother them with a follow up email
oh wow thanks for the info, will do!I would reach out to other students as well, the document on the website was outdated (at least when I tried) so a lot of the people I emailed were no longer part of the host program.
How do we know our status? (pushed 1 or 2)I think it means the application is on hold, first tier? if you go to view other applications tab, you will see it there. I know some people have pushed 2
Click on the view other applications tab. It should be on the upper right corner. How do we know our status? (pushed 1 or 2)
[deleted]So is it better to have pushed 1 or pushed 2? I've been MR since July 18 and my app still says Pushed 1. Starting to lose hope 🙁
Mmm.. it's weird my application does not show this tab, maybe because I still have a pending MCAT score.Click on the view other applications tab. It should be on the upper right corner.
Congrats!!I don't mind at all: July 26. And thank you!
Right above your Amcas ID which is on the top line by your student ID. Above that line to the right should say view applications and there you goCan someone share a screenshot of the other applications tab? I also don't have/can't find it on my application and am worrying that my app might've had technical issues or something.

Strange. Mine says Pushed 1? WHAT DOES IT MEEEEAN. Haha.

I wish!have you had a II yet?
Oh! That makes complete sense haha. Pushed is such a weird way to word it, especially to neurotic premeds ;P. Thank you!As @nezpas said, I think "Pushed 1" or "Pushed 2" just refers to the number of times you've applied to Wayne. Most of us should be "Pushed 1" since it's our first time applying, while reapplicants would be "Pushed 2." Sound about right? Haha just my 2 cents so who knows!
That can't be correct since mine says "Pushed 5". I have definitely not been through that many cycles lol.As @nezpas said, I think "Pushed 1" or "Pushed 2" just refers to the number of times you've applied to Wayne. Well this is quite the mysteryThat can't be correct since mine says "Pushed 5". I have definitely not be through that many cycles lol.
my application does not show a tab for this. and it does not say "pushed" anything anywhere. I've been "Med School in for Review (MR)" since Sep 5th.
509 MCAT, Instate, 3.78 sGPA...
My neurotic pre-med self is telling me to worry but I don't even know why I should worry because no one even knows what "pushed" means sooooo someone with the "pushed" on the application should call and ask. I was going to call but then I don't want them to be like "lets look you up" and then I'd have to tell them that the only reason I know about the push thing is SDN lol.
that's what I thought of it too. "Pushed" sounds like a hold for re-reviewI have "pushed 1" and I got a very early interview invite and have interviewed already. I think it could be like a hold. Say someone reads your application and thinks you're not an immediate II or an immediate rejection- they "push" your application to be reviewed again later. Then someone else picks it up and reads it- same thing. Until you're pushed back enough to warrant a rejection or someone who gets to your application and really likes it and decides to put it to the committee to decide on an interview invite.
This doesn't explain the Pushed 5 above lolWhile checking out Wayne State master's programs with a friend, I have a few unsubmitted graduate applications listed on my portal. These unsubmitted applications have the pushed number status in the order they were created.
I'm leaning towards that it's just an awkward way of saying how many applications you have started.
What days of the week does Wayne typically interview?
Are you waiting for an II or did you get one already? That can't be correct since mine says "Pushed 5". I have definitely not be through that many cycles lol.
All pushed means is the number of applications you've submitted to Wayne State.
The latter but I think my application always said "pushed 5".Are you waiting for an II or did you get one already?
Just curious, when did you interview last cycle?Just got an interview invite this morning. IS, complete 9/01.
I interviewed here last cycle, got waitlisted then rejected. So I'm surprised to say the least that they're giving me another chance.
Are they definitely releasing to us Oct 16th?
