Pretty sure my group was told we would definitely hear back on Monday, but now I'm not sure if that's my wishful thinking altering my memories...

I also interviewed during the 11:30-4:30 slot. Lunch is first, and during lunch current M1s come and talk to you about the med school and what to expect, while also answering any questions you may have. Second is the tour where during they take you to get your ID photo taken, and then lastly you have the interviews. You'll most likely get out early. Our group was done by like 3:30. I liked this time slot because it helped you wind down before the interviews actually started.

Wayne is located in midtown (not even 5 minutes from downtown) and hotels can be expensive. Nearby hotels will be in downtown, and it can be a tad expensive simply because of the location. But Greektown Hotel & Casino can sometimes be reasonable, and would be nice to stay in since it's kind of in the center of downtown. Check online for any deals they may have.
 
Hi! Anyone interviewing this Mon Oct 16th? I am in the 8:30am to 12pm group and will be leaving from the interview with a flight at 5:05 pm ( would like to get to airport by 2). I was wondering if at least 3 other people will be heading for the airport directly from the interview. According to the online uber fare estimate, an uberx form the school to the airport would be $29-36 and splitting it among four people would be cheaper than SKOOT.

It will be mainly the august and september interviewees that hear back today, right? I interviewed October 9th so I think I can relax, though will still be on edge as the decisions roll in. Cause that's just how my anxiety is set up 🙂 good luck to everyone hearing back today!
 
I interviewed tail end of september (25th). Anybody know if today be the day for that date, I can’t remember if they said 16th verbatim or if they were ~vague~

To perhaps put your mind at ease (for today at least), the people who interviewed around your day last year heard back the 2nd of November.

That does make me feel a little better haha. The woman in the office said that she anticipated we would hear back by Nov 9th, but she added that that would only be if the committee meets when they're supposed to. I'm just hoping the decision is on time!
 
Guys, why don't you call the school and find out. They won't bite 😉
 
I called and got voicemail. 🙁

Kind of upset because I was explicitly told on my interview day that we'd hear today, so I'm really hoping there's some kind of automated email sent later tonight...

portal still says invite to interview. But I interviewed late september so maybe they just havent gotten to us for this release date?
