Does anyone know Chris Austin's email? Trying to send a post interview thank you letter, but I cannot find his email anywhere!!

Yeah, I'm thinking that since some Jan interviewees have already been accepted, they are holding off on our decisions. Do they have a waitlist? I wish they would just have post II update after about a month to ease the tension, like "hey, we're still reviewing you, your not forgotton".

It feels like they might be waiting until all the interviews have finished before sending out more acceptances. At least that is my shot in the dark hypothesis
 
Are more invites going out today? I see they dumped a bunch of pre II Rs this week... I’m still waiting to hear something considering next Friday is the last interview (at least that’s what it sounds like). Haven’t gotten an invite or an R yet...

Yep havn't heard anything either. But I emailed them and they said everyone will hear about their interview by end of this week or before. So I am guessing they are sending second wave of rejections this week 🙁

Also as a follow-up to this post, transportation w/o a car is doable but not reliable. When I landed in MBS, I was able to find a Lyft to Mt. Pleasant that was ~$50 (not including tip). There were no Lyfts/ Ubers in the town itself, so I called Chippewa cab for a ride to campus. For anyone who is unfamiliar with the service, please look at their Yelp reviews... I decided to walk back in the snow to my hotel room after the interview, and grab Qdoba for dinner on my way. Actually wasn't a terrible walking distance- Took me ~30 minutes. Slipped on some ice and scraped my knuckles, but still preferable to taking Chippewa cab.

Then I used Griffin cab service for my ride from Mt.Pleasant back to MBS. They were very reliable, but cost me over $80 (not including tip).

current m2 here; wish you would have asked one of the current students for some help! so many of us would not have minded taking you to the hotel 🙁 i'm sorry you had to deal with that but hope you enjoyed the interview day itself!
 
I just rechecked my CMU application status and it looked differently to me — it’s still marked as “incomplete” by the “invited for interview” category, but before that it says “application under review” is also incomplete. I could’ve sworn that either wasn’t there before or it used to be marked completed. Anyone else notice that?

Yip. It is so weird. I am okay. I am fine. I am NOT freaking out.

Mine is the same as well - switched back to the red bubble
 
So I'm assuming since tomorrow is the last interview date, no more IIs are going out - if that's the case that really sucks they continued to tug a few of us along just to reject us the day of or day before.

Got mine as well. I have a DO acceptance and am on the alternate list at MSUCHM but was looking forward to interviewing at CMU. Lame sauce ...
 
pre II rejection. No MI love even though I'm IS and well within range of their grades. Unfortunate
 
Pre-II rejection yesterday! Kinda surprised they waited this long to say something

I am not sure what they want publicly announced, but I would recommend reaching out to them if you are an accepted student who hasn't received word about it yet! They also posted something to the facebook group for accepted students!

I'm not. I'm waitlisted and I don't wanna make a fuss asking if I can attend if its gonna be a date where I'm unavailable anyways

I haven’t heard anything yet, which is interesting... on my interview day the staff came out and said we weren’t interviewing for the waitlist but it sure feels like it at this point lol

I would also suggest asking about it if you are that interested. Not only is it good to try to get the info from them but it might show true interest and commitment if they know you want to attend it, and that may even make you stand out from others on the waitlist.

I interviewed on 02/15 and was accepted last Tuesday. A friend of mine who also interviewed that day was accepted yesterday. It doesn't sound like they move in a linear order and instead have an unknown method to organize applicants.
 
I interviewed on 2/22 and waiting to hear back. Really loved it here!!! The wait is killing me.😱
