this thread is hilarious, I was accepted earlier this year and I felt the same way you guys are feeling now. don’t worry hopefully you will hear good news soon and I will see you in the fall!
If its bad news you still may see me in the fall....down the street at PCOM

Yoooo honest to God, **** NYU for sending that email right now

Legit heartbroken. They didn’t get a lot back, either.
yea I know :/ I think that something is better than nothing at least, he was probably gonna walk at the end of the season anyway. plus i can root for nasheville when we inevitably dumpster our playoff chances.

That is my plan. Still love Lavy and Simmons makes it easier.

And they’ve pretty much dumpstered it already.

I'm trying to not worry too much (but it's hard). Looking at last year's thread, there was quite a few people that got deferred and then accepted in April/May/June.... It's only Feb, ya feel?

I just want to know if we are gonna hear anything this week. Rejection, defer, accepted, idc. I just want to hear something

Alright I've reached peak neuroticism and went back and counted every user reported post II decision in this year's thread. Unless otherwise specified each tally is an A. Do with it what you will

This is peak neuroticism lol. But this is great. I guess there's a chance for acceptances all week still. But also deferels and rejections

Is there anyone from the late November interviews who HASN’T heard back? That’s probably a good way to determine whether more decisions will be released this week. I heard yesterday, and I can’t imagine they’d keep the rest of the November crew waiting past this month too.

I’m late November and haven’t heard back yet, curious as to whether it’s deferral or rejection at this point or possibility of an acceptance

I interviewed mid November

This is amazing. Thank you, lol.

I feel like this is a pot calling a kettle black (haha) but I am so here for all of this neuroticism because it makes me feel less alone.

Not trying to be a downer, but I am always a fan of extra information. I Interviewed late November, and thought I just didn't make it into the decision week in January because I heard nothing. My deferral email actually came the Monday following the posted Decision week. (so for anyone in the February decision if you are getting deferred it could happen this coming Monday). Again not trying to dash anyone's hopes, but I always like hearing how it happens for other people. May not be their pattern I May have been an exception, but I would have liked some warning because the deferral email came out of the blue. Good luck to all! I'm still hoping for good news as well!

About 5% of people get scholarship. And Last year it looks like they started to roll out around easily April IIRC

Where did you get this info? I can’t find anything on the website about how common scholarships are and for what amounts.

I believe it was the premium subscription to US News Report.

And amounts.. theyre small. Ive gotten small scholarships after first year for like, 5k each-ish. All endowments from mostly alumni so it isn’t a lot.

I've just accepted my fate of deferral or rejection after interviewing in early December. It wasn't my strongest interview and it's been quite quiet over here at my inbox.

Has anyone from mid December heard anything? Wondering if they even looked at that week of interviews yet

Bc 12 weeks is a long time, do they even remember who they interviewed 12 weeks ago lol
For real. How can you accurately judge if someone is worthy of your program if youre trying to remember a 30 minute convo from 3 months ago.

I’m guessing the interviewers write up a summary and check some boxes on certain items to give you a score and then they combine that with everything else (gpa, mcat, ECs, ca$per, the essay)
