II today, In State. MCAT 510, gpa about 3.73. I originally got the waitlist email on 8/1.

More tasty info: I know somebody on admissions there and he says that they send their interviews on tuesdays. So be on the lookout on tuesdays for the most part.

This is juicy. Thank you for the info.

Hey guys, got my OOS II waitlist today (3.81, 506)
Anyone know if there is any place that we can provide updated information?

Interview waitlisted as well. OOS, complete 7/17, 519, 3.95

Tasty but probably incorrect. 😉

Does anyone know how Canadian friendly Arizona is? MSAR says they accept Canadians and I've spoken to Canadians that interviewed but none matriculated...thoughts?

Does everyone get on the pre-ll waitlist and they either reject or give you a ll after that? Or do people can rejections and ll without having to be waitlisted?

@UAZ COM-T Admissions Is the 21 day due date for a "completed" secondary app? I can get the secondary done and submitted before then but my clinical LOR may not be in before the 21 days.

Interview WL like last week. Was reading last year's thread and barely saw anyone get an II after the waitlist. Anyone know of the hard stats on how many go from Interview WL -----> II?

On the Interview WL as well. Don't think our chances are great, however, on this year's thread someone went on it and then get invited for an interview a few days later. So there's hope!

When were you complete?

I submitted secondary on 7/24/18. Haven’t been placed on interview waitlist yet

Secondary submitted 7/21. Haven't heard back either. OOS. Fingers crossed.

@UAZ COM-T Admissions Are you guys receptive to in the area emails? I'm traveling from across the country and interviewing in Phoenix mid-October, would love the opportunity to interview here as well!

Is UAZ COM-T a common abbreviation that I can use? Or did anyone else use a particular abbreviation

I was wondering if anyone familiar with the U of A campus could help me out with an address and directions to reach the Student Lounge (Room 2110)? I haven't been able to find it via the application portal and am absolutely helpless when it comes to navigation haha. Thank you!

Haha, funny you mention this - I interviewed here and Lori in admissions had to come get me! I felt like my chances were shot - I mean, how can you be a doctor if you can't find the room to interview for med school?

The college of medicine is the building you want to locate on the map. The room is just inside on the left, there will be a big sign. The college of medicine is next to the nursing building and adjacent/connected to the hospital. Let me know if you still need help!

Thank you so much! If I too end up getting hopelessly lost, now I even know who to call 🙂

She has the patience of a saint, haha! Good luck on your interview! Great school and I would love to stay in-state! They also have an awesome new state-of-the-art simulation lab that should be operational soon.
