To confirm that I’m attending the interview do I just go to message center and reply to the email on there? They said to go to the message center to confirm but I can’t find any other way to do so on there.

Has anyone gotten a phone call yet? The anticipation is killing me

They responded within an hour (I was super impressed)! And yep I was paired with a host. I believe we'll hear about student clinic on Thursday.

Did you send the PDF to the host email? I submitted the survey a couple weeks ago but only just realized I didn't send an email of my responses...

Rumor has it that the admissions committee didn’t weigh MCAT/GPA as highly in the past. Numbers were weighted more heavily for the current MS-1 and MS-2 as a way to increase step 1 score in response. Curriculum is well aware of the need to teach toward step 1 and there was a recent hire of a medical school curriculum dean toward this goal.

Remember though that step 1 is driven by the individual more than the school, exactly like how the MCAT was more about your personal study skills than the university you had attended!

It’s been over a day and I haven’t heard back from them for my confirmation. I’m officially worried lol
 
Hey, guys don't worry! I never heard anything back for mine either and I showed up to my interview and they were expecting me. I don't think they'll reply back to every single person.
On the other note, has anyone received a phone call or an email? Anticipation is killing me

For those of you who already interviewed, how was the interview atmosphere? Friendly? Fun? Stressful?

It was super friendly and not at all stressful for me. I interviewed in the afternoon so the first half of the day was spent touring the campus a little and getting to the know the program, followed by lunch where we got to meet current students. Everyone was incredibly supportive and helpful. Definitely helped ease the nerves right before the interviews.

Cool thanks! Are there water/bathroom breaks during the MMI? 2 hours seem like a long time lol

Yeah I was in the same boat and forgot to do that part too! So a few days ago, I did the survey again and submitted the PDF to the host email. It seemed to have worked but I hope I'm not annoying them...Good luck to you!
 
For people who are concerned about not getting a secondary from UC Davis, I spoke with someone from admissions today and she said that they send out the secondary application to students even in December. So unless you already got the R, don't freak out about not getting one yet. 🙂 Also, double check your spam if you applied a long time ago cause it might have been sent there
 
Does anyone know if they send R's as soon as they make a decision or do they wait until March or something?

There are people who are rejected right away and others waitlisted. Final decisions for the waitlist end around May.
 
Anyone still waiting to hear about interviews? Completed secondary in August. Are they still interviewing or is it over for us?
