Complete 7/16
Extremely ecstatic about this interview!
Good luck to everyone!!

My status page says “Interview - Not scheduled yet” but I never received a call or anything. Does anyone know what this means?

I've been complete since 7/16, but haven't heard anything yet.
Do they silent reject?

I have completed their professional application about 5 days ago, but I cannot see my UFID. They said look next to your name and there is an inverted arrow for it, but I don't see the arrow! .... HELP!
How can I obtain my UFID?

Hi all! Current MS1 right now at UF (I'm not sure if there is a verification process for this claim and it still feels weird saying this). I've been a long time lurker on SDN the past few years. We've only just finished our first week of class but if y'all have any questions, I'll try my best to answer. I completed my application really early on in the cycle, but didn't get an II until near the end of the year, so the process does take a while.

Soverign0 has made a great post earlier and knows much more than I do, so I'll just speak of my personal experience so far.

We had our orientation last week and I think everyone I met was just incredibly talented and kind. I interviewed all over Florida but the people found here are honestly quite amazing and is a big reason why I chose UF.

This first week has been an incredible and scary time. What has impressed me the most currently is that UF truly does care about student well-being (it's not just a checkmark on a laundry list of good things to do). Everyone is assigned into a collaborative learning group which meets frequently and even though we've only met once so far, it has really become a family within a new family for me. It will be a place where we come together and reflect, review each other's clinical skills practice runs, and find study groups to... well study together.
Lectures have been plentiful but each instructor just seems so real and someone we could connect to. The lectures were scary (we had 8 on Monday); however, it calms down a lot after the first few days and I actually have a bit more free time than I expected for the first week (hence why I am here) and slightly procrastinating on studying genetics.

Finally, I did not attend UF for undergrad and coming into this year, I was extremely nervous about meeting and making new friends, a worry that has long since disappeared.

Good luck to everyone this cycle!

Has anyone had any success uploading a proof of citizenship to the portal? I have tried three different file types and I just keep getting either the "Please only upload accepted file types" or "Binary or string data has been truncated" error messages?

Hello hello! I’m a current MS1 at UFCOM and I couldn’t be happier to have ended up at such a special school. Remembering how much help I received online last year, I wanted to pay the favor forward (as I see some of my classmates have as well) and encourage anyone with any questions to feel free to PM me about the interview process or school culture here. I really wish you all the best—the app cycle can be quite a monster but getting that acceptance call and then walking on campus for your first day of school (not to mention: in a beautiful, state of the art building that has its own Starbucks—hello?) as an ~actual medical student~ makes it all worth it. I have absolutely no qualms about coming here. Hit me up for more deets. Cheers and enjoy the ride!!!

Do they give interview invites over the phone? I received a missed call yesterday while at work and I'm currently at work again now. Planning on calling back tomorrow, but the voicemail left just said they had an update about my application to the program

If you check under your UF portal, you might be able to see something under "communication status". Some others had interview scheduled here before they got a phone interview invite so maybe you have something?

Yeah I checked my portal, but there's no new status updates. Guess I'll just have to be anxious at work until I can call tomorrow:whistle:

I also missed my call and got the same voicemail about an exciting update to my application. called them back the next day and was able to schedule my interview. Congrats!

I was at work when they called me and they left the same voicemail. Called them back right after. Congrats y'all!!

Ah man now I'm getting too excited, I won't get home until 7am, wonder if that's too early too call lol

I know you've probably called by now but the portal home screen will have an "interview" line under your LORs and it'll say interview not scheduled until they schedule it over the phone

I just got a new email saying they will be downloading my app onto another application portal. This is kind of confusing 😵
I got that too. Its addressed from UF though and not UFCOM so I think it has something to do with the separate $36 UF application we had to do to submit the secondary. I already interviewed here so I dont think it has anything to do with the med school.
