MSTP is reviewed by a separate committee and has its own time-line.

Would anyone who has interviewed here be willing to give a brief summary of what it was like overall? Have my interview next week and I'm very nervous!

The environment was very very relaxed (interviewees were playing Jenga together at a point to kill time), great food, tour didn't require much walking, and the student guides were very nice (they don't report to adcom). We had 2 interviews, both 30 min, with 2 different people.

And I'm assuming the interviews were open file, right?

Good food, good tour, really nice building. Two open file interviews. One was chill but one was kinda tough for me so it depends on who you get.

I was in that group playing jenga! So funny. But yea they said before hand that the interview here is super chill and they weren’t lying at all. They didn’t have any pre written questions to ask or atleast it didn’t seem like they did. I literally spoke about game of thrones for part of the interview. Super chill an

I met two M1s at another school who both got into Bassett after interviewing in (I think) January, so I'm sure there will be another round soon. Keeping my fingers crossed for you dude!!

It was an acknowledgement written by the admissions office.

for those who interviewed, were there vegetarian lunch options? not sure if i should email

For those of you who interviewed, do you recommend bringing anything? I've heard bringing your phone and showing pictures and stuff, but that seems possibly rude? Or I know some people bring padfolios but that seems really extra to me.

I was thinking of just bringing a tiny black purse with my phone and chapstick.
