I got a different post interview email: one about student life and curriculum from a current student, basically saying if i had any questions i could reach out

Rip I thought that was a more personal email. Seems strange they would tell everyone that the admissions committee will keep them “very strongly in mind”. Did anyone send a thank you note after interviewing and not get the email?

I got that one and an email after submitting a thank you note. I think amcasTuesday meant to say post interview not post II

Are you saying that everyone, who post Interview sends a thank you note gets the “admissions committee will keep them very strongly in mind” email?
 
Does anyone know the current dates offered for interviews? May see if they are receptive to an ITA portal upload.

Also, are there specific dates they interview weekly or just whenever?
 
Wait, did they say thank you notes to interviewers or admissions office would be strongly considered? I didn’t hear anything that strongly worded.
 
secondary q pls help:
-do we have to include a cv? if so what format?
-when it says parents occupations is that only if they went to or are involved w columbia
 
they release all decisions late feb or early march so it has to end before then, someone correct me if i am wrong please

Their last dates are around third week of January since they come out with results in February (they try to come out earlier than other Ivies). Their timeline says

August - January: Interview invitations are sent.
March: Admission offers are sent and waitlist opens.

At my interview they said that they’re trying to shoot for even late December but if not then late February

The smallest of addendums: at the interview they said Late February-March

Ok but I feel ignored lol. The admissions told me they could even do late December if everything works out. I know I know it’s probably not going to happen but pls let me have that beacon of hope
 
For MSTP interviewees, did a lot of people go to the dinner the night before and after the interview or just pick one?

That cuts off everyone else. they have to close interviews before they give admissions and that means no interviews in January.

Yeah I don't know why they wouldn't be interviewing in January as well. Columbia interviews a lot of people so I don't know how it would even work logistically to stop interviewing so early.

I was originally offered a December interview date but emailed them back that I could not make it due to another interview I already scheduled and they immediately responded and gave me a January date!! I am MSTP so I'm not sure if that changes things but I am interviewing in January!
 
With a GPA of 3.9 and MCAT 526 is it worth applying now or should I wait a year.
