I honestly don't know, I went for my drug test, afterward made a call to the number provided, confirmed my test ID number, and didn't do anything else.

I did the same thing.

I just checked the results and it says it was delivered to someone. When I googled that person’s name it lists them as the director of student affairs at DMU. So, it seems like it auto sends.

Also, if you go into your admissions account, the drug and background checks won't show up anymore under the outstanding requirements. I was on the other day and saw that which was my final confirmation that they had definitely gotten them.

Is it a urine drug test and do you have to personal upload the results that day?

if I remember correctly, the question was more about your exposure to osteopathy. Would be hard to talk about if you haven’t done any DO shadowing. I scribed for both MD and DO physicians and talked about what I valued and appreciated with DOs.

3000 characters for exposure to osteopathic medicine. 500 characters for what you're doing now/plan to do leading up to matriculation.

just let you know that almost any edu email address can give you the free access to office 365, and I found a glitch that after I downloaded the installation pack to local I was able to use it with any other Microsoft accounts so everyone in my family uses it for free now (with their microsoft ID logged in)

Does anyone have any information on the typical waitlist or 1st quartile size?
 
Anyone who already did drug screen and background check. How long does it take ApplicationStation to change the status? Submitted my drug screen yesterday and submitted the background check form last week, but status hasn’t changed.

Drug screen was next day and the background check took about 4 business days.

thank you both! just wondering mainly about the drug screen since my paper said one test number and the chain of command paper from lab Corp says another

Don't know too much about the online classes if we end up going that route, but based on an email I got from Matthew, this is how our block schedule would look like.

Straight from the email:
"Each term (fall/spring) will have 2 10 week blocks. Each block will have 8 weeks of instruction (lecture and labs) with the 9th week reserved for assessment. The 10th week of the block calendar is reserved for those students who fall short in a course or courses to retest. Students who have done well on the exams will have a week off the 10th week. Exams are scheduled every two weeks and will include items from about four courses. The 9th week of the block will include both a regular exam (covering past two weeks of material) and end of block comprehensive exam.

Lectures are typically in the morning with labs in the afternoon. The first year is disciplined based (anatomy, biochemistry, cell and tissue biology, etc) and the second year is systems-based. We anticipate the schedule for courses will not vary significantly from the current curriculum layout: Curriculum | Des Moines University."
