Hi, I wanted to check in again and see whether any MSTP applicants had heard anything? UIC has a pretty large MSTP class but I haven't seen anybody post about IIs or Rs yet. Does anybody have any insight?
 
Congrats on today's interview invites!! WOO!!!

How is the calendar looking? Are we well into November for interview dates?

I was offered three dates in Chicago, and they were last week of October and first week of November.

If I remember correctly, there were interview slots available next week, but only at Rockford and Peoria. The earliest Chicago date was 11/14, so I snagged that one. Interviews are on Tuesdays and Thursdays
 
Is the portal down for anyone? I seem to be having issues logging on, but don't want to reset my password if others are also having the same issue.
 
Anyone remember if UIC said they would send out acceptances on the 15th for early interviews?
 
Does our interview site actually mean anything? They said in the invite email it’s not predictive of which campus you’ll end up at, so is it totally random what campus you’re invited to for an interview?

For those who interviewed, what food was served? I'm a vegetarian and was wondering if they had veggie options or if I should reach out and let them know
 
Have heard nothing yet. I’m thinking they’re behind and therefore won’t release decisions yet.
 
Does anyone know when campus assignment happens?

Yes I know but I'm wondering what the timeline usually is like- I heard some people did not get assignments until after April 30th which made deciding on a school very difficult.

I think it varies a lot. Last year, I had friends who found out the next day, and others who found out within a couple weeks. I think not finding out until April 30th might have just been a fluke arising from the chaos of last cycle. I’m sure you could call the admissions office and they’d be able to give you a better answer than I though.
 
Haven’t heard anything yet. Interviewed 9/18. Does anyone know how last year’s cycle pan out? I’m afraid that waiting this long means an R/waitlist.

But the difference being last year they told ppl to expect decisions in December and this year idk how timely they’re being with decisions

Congrats! Is/OOS and complete date if you don't mind?
I'm OOS with strong ties but don't see much OOS activity lately
