FYI I interviewed last week, they told us that for this school at least the first two interview dates would hear back (A, R, WL, or their wackadoo post-back soft A thing) on October 15. They seem to move pretty quickly in committee, at least post-II.

Nothing on portal yet, but I’ll keep checking neurotically till something pops up. The fact that it’s Oct. 1st, not 15th makes it even harder to believe that this is real life

Just wanted to let you guys know that after I saw the voicemail and listened to it, I did call him back and he did reassure me that the acceptance is real, but he realized after calling so many people that he made a mistake by not waiting lol. So we really are accepted!!! We're gonna be doctors!!!

We just have to wait until October 15 to be able to actually accept the offer.

OOS is essentially double IS. 80k/year would also mischaracterize it - its 80k year 1, 55k year 2, 80k year 3, and 55k year 4. The yearly difference is because of summer classes. You go year round from 1st year to step, then year round 3rd year to residency.

Makes sense. I know schools double the OOS tuition, but even the IS tuition seems hefty to me compared to other schools I am looking at. But hey, I wouldn't complain if I have the opportunity to go here!

I wish I could give a concrete answer to this, but I don't know, he did not specify whether or not he called all acceptances. I got a call from him at about 8:30 PM EST, so it was pretty late.
