II, complete 9/29
One hour long Zoom interview and a one hour long student panel session!II here as well. Does anyone know the structure of the interview day? Is it just one hour-long Zoom interview?
cgpa 3.95, bcmp 3.92, mcat 515, IS.Those of you that got II would you mind sharing your stats/IS vs OOS? Congrats!
Big thanks to dad!I have no idea how this happened. I only applied to Einstein because my dad has an obsession with YU (they aren't even affiliated anymore) and offered to pay for the application if I applied; I thought it was a waste of time and money because of my stats (IS Jewish ORM, 3.5X cGPA, 3.3X sGPA, 517 MCAT).
BUT I GOT AN INTERVIEW INVITE! I was complete mid August, and it's been radio silence until now. No idea how or why this happened, but I'm gonna knock their socks off at that interview.
Hey premed3678, I'd be happy to chat! Feel free to reply or DM me!Are there any current Einstein students willing to chat about their experience?
I believe they only accept updates from those who already interviewed, after you interview they provide someone's email address for you.Is there a way to provide updates or letters or interest/intent?
They were like a typical student panel. Can anyone speak to the "real talk" sessions? How were they?
No, don't think so. They haven't even sent out A's yet. those are in Feb. R's might come with that.Have they sent out any Rs yet?
When do they release As?No, don't think so. They haven't even sent out A's yet. those are in Feb. R's might come with that.
February 1When do they release As?
I attached as a separate documentfor anyone who sent a post II update, did you include it in the body of the email or attach a separate document/pdf?
+1I attached as a separate document
Correct.Einstein does not accept Pre-II updates right?
I sent an update on a Friday and received a reply that it had been added to my application the following Mondayfor those who sent an update, how long did it take to receive a response back that it had been received?
Feb 1stDoes anyone know the actual date where they release acceptances/rejections?
i didnt get a reply for a week so i had to follow up lolEinstein does not accept Pre-II updates right?
Yes, your deep clinical experience and URM status likely got their attention --- as it did at other schools based on signature. Congrats!Hi guys I have an interview on Friday and I just wanna see if anyone can give me some insight on why they think I got invited for an interview? In preparing for the interview, I see that Einstein is a research-intensive school. Well, I have minimal research lol. However, I do have a TON of clinical experience in many different fields as well as experience working with children with intellectual/developmental disabilities. And if you look on Einstein's community service page, almost all of their programs are working with this population. So maybe that could be the connection? Idk. I'm a URM, and overall, my app is very focused on caring for minorities, increasing diversity, promoting health equity, etc. Because the Bronx is such a diverse community, this could possibly be the connection too. Would just like to see what you guys think. Thanks!
Thank you! I just saw that they're all about research so I was confused like "why'd they pick me?" lolYes, your deep clinical experience and URM status likely got their attention --- as it did at other schools based on signature. Congrats!
I interview on Feb 2, so I really hope that isn’t the case. I speculated with my friend and thought maybe their decisions are just on a different timeline. If they send acceptances on Feb 1 does that mean no more interviews? Or is Feb 1 just the first day they start sending acceptances?

Yesdo you find out your interviewer's name before the interview day?
It was not too large of a group. I don't think it was more than 8For those of you that have interviewed, how many applicants are at the interview day?
Anyone know what the dress code is like for the Real Talk?
The real talk is like a separate zoom meeting with just students. Its to meet students from different organizations. They have them every Friday, but they are not a part of the interview itself. We had to fill out a google form to receive the linkI forgot what Real Talk was. Is that the student information meeting after the interviews? If so, I remember just staying dressed in my suit since it was right after my interview but they told us we didn’t need to be dressed up and that it was very casual.
It was a while ago for me so I don’t remember but I'm pretty sure you can be casual/business casual no need for a suitThe real talk is like a separate zoom meeting with just students.
