I realllllly hope they’re not done releasing A’s to december interviewees. Very possible but I really dont want it to be true.
 
Just got a waitlist offer, interviewed 12/14 so I think yesterday's A's may have been it for December

Oh boy. Sorry to hear that. 🙁 I still haven’t received a decision but I’m not feeling great about it anymore.
 
Waitlisted today at 9:06 EST per the email. Interviewed 12/10.

I’m presuming no news is good news at this point

Has anyone successfully logged into DrexelOne? I received an email from financial aid telling me to go to DrexelOne but I can't get in. I called the number and emailed admissions but no luck.

I feel likely in April. I imagine next week they are gonna start releasing for January and it might take the end of March to finish for January. So I am guessing April is when they will start releasing for February.

I would be hopeful that there is a possible A. The pattern I am seeing is : Group of students interview-> Small % of group gets A next decision wave, Small % gets R, Rest of the group gets deferred/Silence until unknown timeframe

I have tried everything and cannot get in for the life of me. No matter what information I use it says it’s incorrect.
 
can anyone explain the authentication process before interview day? do we just wait in the zoom call until they let us in?

I feel like a lot of ppl on here are 12/14 and haven't heard so maybe they just haven't gotten to all of us yet? At least that's what I'm telling myself lol

You have to press "help and settings" first and then activate account on the drexel one portal and itll take you to a separate form to activate everything like your email and drexel one
 
Just sent in an update letter and a thank you for the open house. Been on Pre-II hold since end of January.

🙏Pray for me. I don't how much longer I can last in my toxic workplace. I've lost all interest in my current research job because of my passive-aggressive, manipulative manager.
 
I was waitlisted this week and want to send an update letter in. I recently took on a full time job with a hospital lab (connected to my current graduate program). Do I mention that in my letter since I would most likely have to quit that job if I was accepted?

i think that is definitely something to include in an update letter!

there may not be a lot of important experiences you can draw from it since you recently started, but congrats on the job! let drexel know!

Does anyone else's grad PLUS Loan show up on their financial aid status? I filled out my application a few days ago for the PLUS loan, but the portal has not been updated yet.
 
Anyone know if all students are in the running for merit-based scholarships? I looked at Drexel's scholarship page, and it seems like they want us to fill out a form by April 1st, but it requires a drexel ID. I just interviewed today, and I don't think I'll hear back with a decision until after the deadline.
 
I interviewed today and they mentioned that we'll probably hear back after April 30th. If I were to get accepted by Drexel afterwards, would I be allowed to drop the other acceptance I currently have? I would prefer to go to Drexel lol

Yep. My understanding is that upon April 30th, you can only hold one acceptance, but as long as it’s before whatever school’s specific commit to enroll date, you can swap that one acceptance out for a different one post 4/30. You can just only hold one until you officially commit to enroll at your chosen school.
 
Is it appropriate to send a letter of interest a month out post interview awaiting to hear back?
 
anyone ever have any problems with having emailed updates posted to your portal?

i know admissions likely receives a ton of emails daily, but just not sure when to f/u about an emailed update that hasn't been posted

Have had the same problem as well. Don't know whether to send the f/u email of not

I sent an update on 2/2 and it was posted to my portal sometime early March. I never followed up after sending the update via email, either.

wait I thought we are supposed to upload the updates to the portal ourselves, not email them. ?

You can only upload one of each (update/letter of intent/CV, etc) to the portal, but if you have an additional substantial update, you can send them an attachment via email.

yup -- i had already uploaded an update letter at the end of 2020 re: some grades and new experiences and so i emailed in another update letter!
