Has anyone filled out the scholarship application yet? Do we know our "FAU Z Number" yet?
 
got an email this morning about a background check for any accepted/ waitlisted ppl. looks like theyre starting that process
 
So I've been on "admissions screening complete" since about the end of October and I submitted my secondary on 10/11. I'm wondering if admissions screening involves simply separating OOS from IS? I'm OOS. Does anyone have any insight on this?
 
"Preliminary review assigned" today, can anyone give insight as to when to expect the next status update??

Are you IS? Also what was your complete date, if you don’t mind. By the way the answer to you question is in Page 8 of this thread “floridapremed” replied. There are many posts in that page 8.

IS and complete date on 11/27! (I applied kind of late 🤐)
 
Went from "preliminary review assigned" to "preliminary review completed" today!
 
hey everyone, i’m an IS applicant (literally from boca) & was complete 8/29 & have been at “admissions screening complete” since then. i’ve sent in 1 update already, but haven’t heard anything or seen any status changes. anyone have any insight on this?

why would someone be in screening in progress if they were complete in early august?
 
Sorry if this has been asked before, but does anyone know if FAU accepts post interview updates? I got placed on the alternate list but have been published since my interview.

i got accepted and emailed FAU that i accept the offer but didn't receive a response. are other accepted students having a similar situation?

Yes, they accept post interview updates! I was in the same situation last year, got published after I was waitlisted. I ended up submitting an update. You can do it through the same portal where you see your application status. It will also let them know you're interested. Also, a letter of intent is also extremely helpful with FAU if it is your first choice. Goodluck! Don't lose hope. Most of our class comes off the waitlist.

They sometimes take a week or more to acknowledge it. You can always email them to make sure they received your reply and to push them to acknowledge it. Congrats!!

yoooo. same **** here. im like did i hit the right email 0_o. I did the certiphi bankground check (im assuming that was for fau?) Anyway, Monica said she sent out an official letter of acceptance- i didnt get this either? did you?

i did the background check! and i got the official letter this week
 
II received today :'') Super shocked & excited because I interviewed here two years ago and loved the campus, but flubbed the interview. Hoping for a better result this time since they gave me a second chance haha

I was complete 8/13, my shoe size is US women's 6 and maybe I'll tell you my SSN if you give me a couple of $500 gift cards first 😉 Thank you hahaha
 
If youre still Admissions Screening in Progress, is it pretty much an R here?
