Oh ok. Thanks! When I don’t see that they posted the stats in the thread, I just go to their page if it’s open to the public and go to postings and sometimes it’s somewhere in the postings. Doesn’t work all the time though.
Did you guys stop receiving the “Thank you for your application to Meharry Medical College” email that came every week? My last one was 11/26
Same.🥲Lol I haven't received anything from them other than the confirmation that my secondary is completed.
Not just you. I am right there with you! sigghh 😢Is there anyone else who's afraid that given Meharrys lack of attention to detail, their application somehow slipped through the cracks and will never actually be reviewed and you'll wonder what went wrong and why they hate you when really they never. Even. Saw. Your. App....just me..??? Mkay...bye lol
I haven't gotten one since Sept! Where's that II lolDid you guys stop receiving the “Thank you for your application to Meharry Medical College” email that came every week? My last one was 11/26

I'd like to know as well. I applied to that program but I'm not sure they have a thread...Hello everyone. Does anyone know where I can find the MHS thread for 2021?
I'd like to know as well. I applied to that program but I'm not sure they have a thread...
update: I just found it lol just search masters of health science meharry
By linkage program do you mean like a feeder program to the med school? It is a one year masters where a lot of the first year med curriculum is taught and if you finish with a 3.5 gpa and 503 mcat you are accepted to the med school. Part of the time is curriculum and part of it is either research (if you entered the program with an MCAT of 503 or greater) or MCAT prep.Is this a linkage program?

wait, so at the end of the year, the students go directly to medical school that following May or do you have a year of not doing anything while you apply?By linkage program do you mean like a feeder program to the med school? Students go directly into medical school starting in June. You reapply during the MHS program.wait, so at the end of the year, the students go directly to medical school that following May or do you have a year of not doing anything while you apply?

No, you can apply for acceptance in the upcoming cycle.wait, so at the end of the year, the students go directly to medical school that following May or do you have a year of not doing anything while you apply?

Lmaoo I still haven’t received a secondary from this school, but they send me that email every week. I think it’s a lost cause for me at this point /: lololLol I only received one and that was on the day my secondary was submitted (10/4). When did you all submit your secondary?
Ok, no biggieI was in the program. I think you misunderstood.
Yeah, probably. Either way, sounds like a great program!I second this. Maybe there was a miscommunication with that earlier misconception. You for sure have classes both semesters whether you have your MCAT score needed already or not. This is not a thesis masters program.
I haven't heard of this program before and am now interested.. so is this assured admission into Meharry Medical School the following cycle? or is it just increased chances of acceptance? I saw that not only MD students pursue this program, but also pre-PA and pre-dental. Also, do you have to be invited or can anyone apply? I was looking through 2020 threads and it seems like previous applicants didn't complete the application until Jan 2020 .. acceptances came around June 2020 for a July 2020 start date. Are the starting times/app open cycle still the same? Thanks for the help!I was in the program. I think you misunderstood.
Pre-pa don’t attend the program. Only dent and med. If you meet the requirements they give the class you’ll get accepted to dent or med school unless you show yourself to not be compatible with the school during MHS, being incredibly unprofessional for example. Your interview is in-house at the end of the program if you meet requirements. The timing of the app is different for students in MHS. If you don’t meet all requirements for whatever reason you can still be waitlisted or you can still get accepted the next year when you reapply after improving what you needed to improve which is usually the MCAT/DAT score. Our class was invitation only. To touch on this our class was able to apply if you did not apply directly to the md or dent program! Current MHS class is at 126 people. Majority med track.Pre-pa don’t attend the program. What does it mean to "not apply directly" so no current MD applicants would be considered? To touch on this our class was able to apply if you did not apply directly to the md or dent program! Current MHS class is at 126 people. Majority med track.
I have already applied to both the MHS and the med school for this upcoming year...I just went to the url for the school of graduate studies and clicked on the appropriate application link...not sure if having applied to both will affect their decision but at least on the surface it doesn't seem like there's a restriction on applying to both.To touch on this our class was able to apply if you did not apply directly to the md or dent program! So in the past people who apply to the medical school or dental school if they did not get in they were referred to the program but I think in the recent year it changed to where people who did not apply to medical school or dental school could apply. What does it mean to "not apply directly" so no current MD applicants would be considered?
I've applied to both...idk how it'll play out thoughSo in the past people who apply to the medical school or dental school if they did not get in they were referred to the program but I think in the recent year it changed to where people who did not apply to medical school or dental school could apply.
II means interview invite, are you talking about secondary?Hello Everyone!
So I submitted my II on 10/12 and I still haven't heard anything back. I tried to go to the application portal (or so I think) from the secondary confirmation email titled "Your on-line form: Application ID." The link on the email just shows me my submitted application and their homepage, which gives a parsing error every time I click it. I see some people are being interviewed before Christmas so is this something normal, like there is just lack of communication on purpose? Also, has anyone been able to decipher their "updates"?
Their communication is HORRIBLE. Don't expect anything to work. Apparently all you see is your application until there is something to update you on, such as an admissions decisions. Some have said they were notified of interview via email and then their decision was in the portal (without any warning or communication of a decision)...personally all I see now is my completed app...no II yet and I completed my app in september....also II means interview invite . I'm assuming you were referring to your secondary applicationHello Everyone!

Yes! I'm still navigating the acronyms. I feel like there are millions of them to followII means initial interview, are you talking about secondary?
Yes, I meant my secondary my bad. And dang! If you completed your secondary back in september, that must be a massive headache right now. I guess we have no choice but to continue to be vigilant on their response.Their communication is HORRIBLE. Don't expect anything to work.
