Do any of you know about Pritzker and if it’s worth sending a letter of interest post interview?

Not to make anyone anxious! Today is officially a month from the last day of MCAT score release; they can theoretically start releasing decisions from today thru 11/30 (and beyond but they start in Nov). It is common to be deferred to the end and then accepted too! Always have hope 🙂

Wondering when my R is coming in (complete 8/16)... They've sent some already yeah?

This past week I have been receiving a lot of post ii rejections and I am terrified I will mess this interview up. Anyone that has interviewed here, any tips?? pls very desperate.

Don't worry! I'm sure you will do great. This school's interviews are very down-to-earth, genuine, and it feels like it's very productive (you get to say a lot about yourself and you get to learn a lot about them). Most of your interviewers will not try to stress you out. Maybe faculty might but you'll probably do great! Just breath and trust yourself and BE yourself. Know your application and yourself and be able to talk about the things that matter to you.

II 4 HRS AGO CANNOT BELIEVE IT!! UChicago was definitely both a reach school and a dream for me but their mission and commitment to social justice really inspired me to apply anyway and it worked out 😍
Love this for you and I feel the same way about their mission; hopefully I'll receive an II too!

Hey! First of, I am sorry about the rejections this past week. That is tough. Do what you need to do to get it out of your system. But also remember you only need one acceptance to be able to pursue your dreams and the decisions the schools reached this past week do not have any bearing on future ones. They invited you to interview because they loved you on paper and are genuinely interested in getting to know the person behind your application! Constantly reminding myself that was something that really helped calm my nerves heading into an interview for what is my top choice. My interviews here were by far the chillest and most conversational, and quite honestly my best of the cycle so far. Everyone was kind and just wanted to have a conversation about you to get to know you. You know yourself and what drives you more than anybody and so bring that energy on interview day! Have your basics (why medicine/how you got onto this path & why us) down. Pritzker is very mission-driven, so be sure to articulate your fit with and commitment to that mission when the opportunity arises. And other than that, just try to reveal more that goes beyond your app about who you are and try to have fun! It might not hurt to also run your responses to some of the basic interview questions by people you trust to make sure you’re not saying anything detrimental, if you haven’t done so already (just thinking this cuz of the post-II decisions that came in). Good luck! Remember to just try and relax. You’ll do great!

Thank you both! I def needed to hear this. I was starting to lose hope

Has anyone who was completed in early October heard anything back? Lol.

It’s about 35-40%. I’d imagine it’s higher at the beginning and gets lower as the cycle goes on but am not sure
Just adding to this, I think they accept 200+ individuals so there is more room that the class size seems to allocate for

Anyone have thoughts on what “select few” means in terms of how many people will hear back this month? Trying to be patient but anxiously awaiting...

me every time I see a Pritzker R wave come:

Pre-II R today. Complete on 9/30. Really liked this school, but hopefully all of you interviewees/admits will get to enjoy it there as much as I would have! Good luck!
complete 10/1... my time has come.
