Drexel interviews until end of April so hang in thereGot put on interview hold on March 1. I know it's "never over until it's over" , but at this point Drexel is playing games.

My guess is that they aren’t giving deferrals because everyone that is deferred is going to be transferred to the waitlist soon. So if you were going to be deferred, they are just going to go right to waitlist. OR you might have just not heard yet and you will get an acceptance!self-aware, neurotic post but this is driving me a little nuts. I'm sitting at over 100 days post interview with zero communication (as I see others are also). I have seen previous deferrals in this thread but haven't seen one for a while. As they told us 6-8 weeks and it's been double that for quite some time now, I am assuming I'm deferred/rejected but have been waiting in anxiety for weeks to get that email.
As the admissions committee seems active in handing out pre-ii rejections and recent acceptances, anyone have any idea what's going on with our forgotten applications? I would happily take a post interview R email right now to end the waiting.
do you mind sharing when you were complete?Pre II hold just now
Early October! Also, has anyone come off a hold is is it pretty much an R this late in the cycle?do you mind sharing when you were complete?
Communicated with the admissions office earlier - you only need to submit your FAFSA for this upcoming year. No need for accepted students to fill out a scholarship application form. Make sure that Drexel got your FAFSA information after you made your account on one.drexel.edu. If anyone else has different info lmkHas anyone received the scholarship application form? Or know where I can find it?
I called yesterday and they only let me leave a message for some reason, haven't heard back yet...ngl I've lost almost all hope at this point (interviewed 13 weeks ago, which feels ridiculous to say)Yeah I second this, someone else I know also heard 4-5 wks but I heard 6-8 weeks (his/her interview was a day after mine). For me this week would be hitting 4 weeks.....
I honestly feel like someone should call and ask at this point.
you shoudl call agan today what do u have to loseI called yesterday and they only let me leave a message for some reason, haven't heard back yet...ngl I've lost almost all hope at this point (interviewed 13 weeks ago, which feels ridiculous to say)
Can you elaborate on the difference for me please? No definitely not!
Wish you the best of luck friend!
Deferred means a decision on your application was postponed. Waitlist means that you have received your decisions and that you will be provided an A if someone drops.
Thank you friends...so would it be "better" to be waitlisted or deferred?A wait-list means that they've made a decision (to put you on the wait-list), deferral means they haven't come to a decision yet
How did you know your ranking on the waitlist?Waitlisted earlier today. Interviewed late Nov. Looks like the waitlist is ranked but 60 of 300 is not so bad so I'm hopeful haha.
I meant that they generally admit ~60 applicants off the ~300 applicant waitlist, and separately, that the waitlist is ranked. Sorry, I had phrased that badly...How did you know your ranking on the waitlist?
Were you ever deferred?Waitlisted earlier today. Interviewed late Nov. Looks like the waitlist is ranked but they take ~60 off the list of ~300 so I'm staying hopeful haha.
Edit: Rephrased
I see, thanks for the clarificationI meant that they generally admit ~60 applicants off the ~300 applicant waitlist, and separately, that the waitlist is ranked. Sorry, I had phrased that badly...
Were you deferred previously?Waitlisted...lol
Nope, I was never deferred. Just didn't hear back after my interview until today. Were you ever deferred?
I interviewed early Nov and was deferred in late Jan.
I was not, this was the first time I heard from them following my interview. Were you deferred previously?
11 days? I've never gotten a decision that fast. All of mine always took at least 8 weeksWow Interviewed on 12/13 and still not heard a single thing 🙁 .... Whereas other schools hear back within a 11 days...
I interviewed 12/15 and got the A last week!Does anyone know all the interview days in December and January, I am trying to estimate how many more interview batches are left before my decision?
I know they haven't released decisions for 12/15....
What other interview days are there between 12/15 and end of January?
did you submit a LOI or update?I interviewed 12/15 and got the A last week!
Submitted update letter couple weeks prior to receiving the decisiondid you submit a LOI or update?
Nope, I feel like they’re gonna send a massive wave of post ii decisionsAnything yet today?
1/10 waiting to hear backWere there any interview dates between 12/16 and 1/06? If not, then January interviewees may hear back soon, right?
At this point probably not. It’s ridiculous how many people some of these schools put on hold knowing very well they aren’t going to give a majority of them an interview.Been on pre-II hold since early ish November. I submitted an update letter shortly after that and still have heard nothing. Would it be beneficial to send another one?
+1Anyone still have no hold, II, or R? Kinda crazy to think they might not have even looked at my app by this point
wondering this too, also what's the difference between accepted students day and visit days?has drexel said anything about a second look day yet?
