waitlist too. 12/13 interviewjust received a waitlist, interviewed 12/14
Do they tell you about any ranking or how they select from the waitlist?waitlist too. 12/13 interview
I had the hard faculty interviewer...There are two interviews: a faculty interview, and a student group interview (with one or two fellow students). There may be additional presentations, but the interview day itself is pretty chill. I heard that one faculty interviewer is very hard but luckily for me I had low stress during my faculty interview.
+1 he was really tearing me down tbh. I was able to get through it since I prepped the SDN interview questions like crazyI had the hard faculty interviewer...
same...literally asked me so many hard questions and never seemed to like my answers 😵I had the hard faculty interviewer...
I have to be a master of Health Care Policy to please him. It's insane. I am wondering if the committee realizes that and takes that into account or if they just have no clue.+1 he was really tearing me down tbh. I was able to get through it since I prepped the SDN interview questions like crazy
I remember reading earlier posts in this thread about this interviewer purposefully being rude to "test" us but I just found it off-putting IMO.I have to be a master of Health Care Policy to please him. 100%. I just don't understand from an interviewer standpoint why being a jerk equates to "testing" someone. I did not feel tested, I felt like it was overly confrontational and unpleasant. Honestly, just reflects poorly on the school more than anything IMO. I wouldn't really want to be a student of this interviewer. I would be too afraid to ask questions about content.I remember reading earlier posts in this thread about this interviewer purposefully being rude to "test" us but I just found it off-putting IMO.
Same I feel like I had them as well. Def left a bad taste in my mouth about the school lolDamn did we all have the same interviewer lol
Don't stress too much. I'd say just try to keep calm if you faculty interview is trying to stress you. Student Interview is v chillMy interview is coming up. Y'all are scaring me 😂😭
No funny, Im pretty sure i was his last interview of the day, cause he said he was tired of being crass and after picking at me for ~5 min, he dropped the act and we just talked about the NFC East, gardening, and jazz lol. Then he asked me some health policy questions and we called it a day.Same I feel like I had them as well. Def left a bad taste in my mouth about the school lol
Were you ever on hold?Just got an II! Complete early August.
No I wasn't on hold. I actually withdrew my application after being accepted to another school, so I don't know how I got the interview. I will be declining so I hope it goes to someone in the thread! Best of luck! Were you ever on hold?
Pardon my ignorance — where are the SDN interview questions?+1 he was really tearing me down tbh. I was able to get through it since I prepped the SDN interview questions like crazy
On the first post in each school's thread you will see a link to Interview Feedback. Check it out for comments from past students who interviewedPardon my ignorance — where are the SDN interview questions?
Hey everybody, I have my interview approaching soon. Does anyone who's interviewed have tips or advice? I haven't done a student interview or open-file interview before...
1. Why medicine (most important)Know your activities and why you want to go into Medicine.
That seems like vague advice but that’s really it.
You should be able to talk about yourself, your path to medicine, and what your path (activities included) taught you about yourself, the world, medicine, whatever.
You will be asked the standard questions, just in a roundabout way. Possibly in the context of your application
Congrats! Email? Call?JUST GOT THE A!!! interviewed 12/15

I'm on week 7 right now. It's possible you will still hear back in 4-5 weeks as they catch up though. In yesterday's interview they told us we'd hear in 4-5 weeks "at least", does that track with what earlier interviewees were told?
Yesterday was week 4 for me. We has seen decisions up to 1/10 now though, so I think they are moving a little bit faster perhaps. In yesterday's interview they told us we'd hear in 4-5 weeks "at least", does that track with what earlier interviewees were told?
