Well, for 2/11 interview day, they said within 3 weeks, so I guess they are behind with 2/04 interview day but hopefully they catch up and we get to find out early like all past interview dates have!!! 😩😭

Can confirm! I also interviewed 2/18 and they said 3-4 weeks! My interview was way different than yours! The interviewers asked us broad questions initially and each of us interviewees answered in different orders for each question. We kind of bounced around with conversations based on each of our answers but I don't think the interviews asked any of us different/separate questions (I kind of wish they did tho because I feel like a lot of our answers were similar but worded differently, so it felt like whoever answered first was kind of in the "hot" seat in a way, having to come up with an answer without much thought).
That's interesting! I'm glad that they asked us different questions, but I did feel like they were kind of making them up as they went lol

Were your interviewers from Harrogate or Knoxville? Mine were two professors from Knoxville.

If I remember correctly, both were from Harrogate I think. I know one of them stated they were from Harrogate, don't remember if the other said where they were.

Wait, we can get portal updates? My portal (the one given for our secondary) still says my application is under review LOL but I had my interview last Friday.
yea i don't think theres any portal updates sadly

Mine hasn't updated since I submitted but I am wondering if it does once we get a decision.

Interview invitation for 3/11 today! I am seeing its around 3 weeks to hear a decision, but does anyone know how their waitlist works? Rolling/ranked/etc.....

Also, was it just one breakout room with two applicants and two interviewers or did you have three separate breakout room conversations?

It is 1 breakout room with 2 other applicants and 2 interviewers. You have approximately ~25-30 minutes to talk in total of all 3 applicants together.

Congrats! Mind sharing stats?
PM me for personal application stats, but maybe this will help you get a timeline: primary on 7/7, complete on 8/9, met with one of the admissions counselors in september and december, update on 12/8 and then II today 2/23 for interview day on 3/11.

Hi new to this forum and just got a II. Do we get to choose which campus we want?

You do, and I think most people get their choice, but currently it seems like the Knoxville campus is getting pretty full.

Hi everyone, would applying here with a 496 MCAT score be alright?

Hey everyone, I'm already an accepted student for class of 2026, I was just wondering, does the school provide us with anything such as technology or scrubs/stethoscopes. Was wondering if any current students can answer. Thanks!

I saw someone got accepted with a 496 but I would assume your GPA would need to be higher and you would need good experiences to put on your app. Are you applying next cycle?

yes, next cycle!

Is anyone else interviewing on March 4th? Just wanted to see if anyone wanted to practice going through questions from the interview feedback page next Wed at 7PM EST?

Someone posted this past Tuesday that they were waitlisted, and their interview date was 2/4, but idk if everyone has heard back from that date.
From what has been posted on SDN, there have only been people WL'ed from the 2/4 group. In fact, nobody has posted about being accepted since the 1/28 interview date
Has everyone from 2/04 heard back? I didn't see acceptances post....
Yea I saw like 4 people from 2/4 post about being WL'ed

Yea I know that’s why I started it with ā€œFrom what’s been posted on SDN" Though in my experience I’ve seen way more cases of people being waitlisted and not posting about it than being accepted and not posting about it. So if I was to bet on it I would say there hasn’t been an acceptance since the 1/28 interview group because the odds are low that multiple people have posted about being WL’ed and not a single person posted about being accepted.

But like you said I’m basing it on what’s been posted. So they could have happened to give out acceptances to only people who don’t post or visit SDN

I’m accepted for class of 2026 too and was wondering the same, any current students?

Got a secondary back in October and haven't heard anything back yet. Who would be the best person to contact at the school to get feedback on my application for the next cycle?

Probably wait til they send the rejection. They are interviewing until April they said

Just got my second interview of the cycle at LMU, was not expecting to hear back from this school. My interview is in April, what are my chances with this late and does anyone have any tips for the interview?
congrats! mind sharing stats?

Thanks! Per AACOMAS: c3.42, s3.12, 504

Honestly didn’t expect to hear from this school at all, I only learned about them in August and was complete on like 8/20.
what dates are available? Which one did you choose?

Current student here. If it's anything like our year, no, your tuition will not include the cost of additional technology (such as a laptop/desktop computer required for exams) or scrubs/stethoscopes/white coats that you'll be using for your doctoring courses. You'll be able to purchase the stethoscope/otoscope as part of a kit from the school. White coats can be purchased at the campus book store (if you're in Harrogate), but you'll not get them with the school's logo until the white coat ceremony during Spring of your second year.

Hi, good luck on your interview! Can I ask how you met with the admissions counselor? Did you email them to request a meeting?

Yeah, so basically any med school will be at the school fairs online. I met with Dcom at a choose DO fair (virtual) back in probably September or August, and from that I obtained contact info for their school counselors. I emailed them with a few questions and asked if they would be able to set up a meeting time to discuss and they did! so we just went over my main questions and concerns as well as discussed more specific aspects of the school. Most schools will give you this opportunity early on in the cycle (when they arent slammed with applications like they are now) because they want you to love the school youre at. I recommend getting ahead during the cycle and meeting with people early on.

p.s. at dcom, the person I spoke with is not on the admissions committee

Can anyone tell me more about the review process post interview? Personally for me the group interview felt a bit odd and I was asked random questions. I don’t feel that I got to display my personality as well as I wanted to like others have mentioned in the thread. I have low(er) stats so I’m nervous about my decision. If anyone was in a similar situation and was accepted, please let me know šŸ˜…
It took nearly 3 weeks for me to hear back from my interview. If you receive an interview then you are obviously good enough stat wise, I believe the post-interview decision is based purely off the interview itself. I felt like mine was pretty conversational, and I barely talked about medicine. Whereas, the other interviewees constantly related everything to medicine. I felt like I didn’t get my points across either, but ended up with an A!

As long as you were true to yourself, and your goals some what align with their mission you’re probably fine!
