I have a question for anyone that has been accepted and paid the initial deposit. How long after did you receive an email with additional details on matriculation. I just received and email that confirmed by payment and listed the due date for the second deposit. I am wondering if there is additional information and items that will need to be completed prior to the second payment.
I didnt get anything other than the confirmation email between deposits. A couple weeks after sending the second deposit I got an email with access to a matriculating student portal and to set up an email. The portal still doesnt really have much added yet except a document that says more info coming soon and the dates of a few events. They haven’t asked for any more info or given any deadlines yet.

Can any current students talk about how financial aid works? Or when they received their financial aid info from UNE?

Finished my interview today! For some reason, a lot of people said it was like a conversation but I felt it was more like an interview LOL. Do you guys know when we will hear back?

Ya I had the same experience. Everyone said it was like a convo and I tried making it like a convo but I kept getting asked very interview like questions and wasn’t getting too many responses to my answers. Fingers crossed, still waiting to hear back

Maybe they have favorites LOL because when I sent my letter, they emailed back "pls just update aacomas"
yup they told me the same thing.
IDK how many ii they have left to send but i've been complete since aug and complete silence.

hey everyone! just had my interview yesterday and its been my only one so far this cycle (praying 4 more). it really was like a conversation! just know what you have to offer they want you to clarify your experiences really. I was wondering if anyone knows if unecom allows for deferral after acceptance?

What kinds of questions did they ask?

I had my interview this morning so I guess it depends on your interviewers because mine was totally a conversation. It was very laidback and I was not asked many typical interview questions. It was mostly about things on my application, like “so I saw you did blah blah blah, could you tell me more about that?” and then we would just converse about it. They made me feel super comfortable and I think it went very well. Fingers crossed lol. Good luck to the rest of you with your interviews! Don’t stress too much.

When does WL movement start? I saw Jan last cycle. Also can we send a new LOR if on WL?

Has anyone started or seen an accepted group pop up yet? I am starting to look for housing and haven't come across any accepted groups but would like to start collaborating with potential roommates.

Kinda nervous about my interview coming up soon. I was wondering if a current or accepted student would be willing to do a mock interview with me?

Does anyone know when their last interviews will be?

I can do this for you, but you should know that my interview was not conversational at all. I am also non-trad so I had a question and an interviewer specific to fit that category. I will do my best to match it to what I think your experience will be like, if you're interested.

Interview tips? Anything unexpected you wish you had prepared for? Thanks!!
I expected it to be conversational because everyone and their mothers told me it would be that way. There was no conversation. Just questions. I wish I had prepared for that.

1/11 and 1/13 interviewees, did anybody hear back today? I was hoping it would be this week, but probably next week?

Ya I heard that too, even 2 weeks after. But they’ve this year they’re sticking with their 4-6 weeks? Fingers crossed 🤞🏼🤞🏼
Mine was four weeks and half a day, almost to the hour. Trust their timeline. I'm sure the snow days aren't helping them be any earlier either.

Mine was two weeks after the interview, so I think it varies. Expect it to still take around 4 weeks, I'm just throwing in my experience to show there isn't a strict timeline; could be 2 weeks, could be 6 weeks, or anything in between. Good luck everyone!

Congrats to everyone who have gotten accepted so far, and good luck to those interviewing! UNECOM is a great school. You should all follow "UNECOMMEMES" on instagram, best of luck!
