I interviewed with two staff members, and it was an hour long. It was open file, but pretty conversational. The started the day with a video about KYCOM, a message from the dean, and then we were split into groups. The first two groups had interviews while the other two groups went on campus tours then we switched off.

It was great. We had a lot of time to talk with the 1st and 2nd years and ask a lot of questions. Interview is also very chill and conversational 30-45 min. Just know your application and activites well and the basic questions.

The interview was one of the best ones I have had in this cycle. My interviewer literally had a heart to heart convo with me and clearly took the time to look over my essays and understand my story. Super relaxed experience and no need to extensively prepare for ethical scenarios. It's really just "Why DO?", "Why Us?" and "Why Medicine?"

The closest airport that has arrivals to/from a variety of places is Lexington, KY (Bluegrass Airport- LEX) at about 2.5 hours away. Huntington, WV (Tri-State Airport - HTS) is about 2 hours away but really only has flights to/from Florida and North Carolina.

Stay at the Hampton right across the street! You can walk right over for your interview. Interview is super conversational so just know the basics and don't be nervous!

Does this school wait list /reject post interview. Did not see a single wait list /Reject update for this year post interview so far. so was wondering whether just accepted people post back. Just wanted to understand what are the chances of acceptance post interview.
