Hi all! New to SDN so not sure if this has been covered, but I'm seeing some posts about it, so a word of encouragement for people who are worried about post-II deferrals: they told us at my interview date (9/19) that the 50% post-II stat includes a huge amount of deferrals. They generally try to hold earlier interviewees to make it more fair for later interviews, so relatively few acceptances go out early. Both people who interview later and people who get an early post-II hold should have a fair shot at an A!

Just means they haven’t fully reviewed your app+interview and made a decision yet

Second A! Phone call came in at 1030 am on 11/4. Interviewed 10/18, Secondary submitted 7/30. I actually missed the phone call so the acceptance came through via voicemail

The cycle isn’t over yet and there’s still a long way to go. Remember to stay positive, be proud of yourself for your accomplishments, and, most importantly, stay hydrated.

II OOS received Sunday morning (11/13/2022). LM 70, completed 8/14/2022. What a nice Sunday morning surprise!
Brian Milsted just called me to follow-up on the acceptance email I received on Friday. He’s the person I interviewed with, so I thought it was incredibly thoughtful and kind to follow-up via phone call. I am at a loss for words honestly. He was so complimentary, and I have such imposter syndrome as a reapplicant lol.
