2022-2023 Drexel

I’m absolutely losing my mind. Three months since interview today. I just want to hear something
I'm sure the wait is excruciating 🙁(( UIowa does a thing called Final Pool where if they can't make a decision by January, they postpone until the committee meets a second time and decisions are all released on March 15th. I know people who interviewed in September who got placed in the final pool and will need to wait literally half a year after their interview to hear back and I do not know how one deals with that anxiety.

Extreme amounts of working out. If I have to suffer like this, I'm at least getting abs out of it

I was put on a pre-II hold, and I went to go check my app status. When I logged in, it just gives me a general welcome page for app Year 2023 with a message at the bottom, “We look forward to reviewing your completed application.” There’s no way to see any previous years. Does this mean it was a soft R? I’m checking on mobile if that makes a difference.

That's just the home page.

Hello! I have been on a pre-interview hold for a while now, no communication or emails for many months. Does anyone know if Drexel accepts updates/LOI for pre-interview applicants? If so, should I send them via an email or upload via the portal? Thank you for the help!

Id sizzle my nuts on a skillet for an II

Hopefully some more II start rolling out after the Feb 19th AAMC PTE data gets released

Feb 21st, and yeah I am hoping this is when we will also see some deferral -> A movement. Cause I'm getting the feeling that it's either they are waiting till after CYMS opens or we are all getting waitlisted in March.

2021 cycle: a ton of deferral -> A in mid Jan
2020 cycle: every single person got waitlisted
2019 cycle: as far as I can see only 1 person got outright A from deferral

grain of salt cause reporting bias from sdn

Oh man that’s horrendous. This was tough to read not gonna lie.

Edit: So we really just have no idea. We are not following 2021 trajectory so it seems that we are going towards 2020 trajectory which really is not what I was hoping for.

Well at least we know they're reviewing deferred applications now

Im gonna note since I forgot to mention this - there were open slots all the way into March, the earliest being 2/20.
