Amazing! Major congrats to those who just heard! Has anyone from the September interviews heard back yet?

For those who heard back- did your portal change to reflect the acceptance at all?
 
Is there a possibility not everyone hears back today? Or will they inform everyone if they are accepted/waitlisted/delayed decision?

There’s a new tab called “admissions decision” (If I remember correctly) that appears. And for A’s there’s a drop down menu for additional tabs. I checked my portal many hours after I saw the email, so I’m not sure when they update the portal

I received a II invite last Wednesday and am interviewing this Wednesday! I was complete on 8/14. I would appreciate any tips or insight on the interview process at Illinois if anyone is willing to share their two cents!

It was very relaxing. Everyone was so nice I was blown away. Definitely don’t stress out. I tried prepping for the MMI but on my day personally there weren’t many ethical qs and the rest I was able to figure out in the two minutes of prep time. The faculty interview was my favorite part; it made me feel like they truly read my app and focused on the positives. Overall, it was the best interview experience I’ve had and definitely don’t stress 🙂
 
For those who were accepted, did you fill out the scholarly concentration essays? Debating if I should do it or not to increase my chances.

I completed them at the time of my secondary submission. I applied to GMED and my faculty interviewer saw that “I have an interest in global health”.
 
For those in scholarly concentrations now, how involved is the curriculum comparatively to the regular track? Is it hard to balance?

IS, LM 74 complete 7/20, and also haven't heard anything! Fingers crossed they're doing OOS heavily first and just haven't gotten to IS peeps yet

this was honestly my favorite interview! the faculty members were extremely kind and passionate about the school, which made for a really positive interview. The MMI I was originally worried about, but it went really smooth and straightforward. The meet and greet the night before passed on amazing advice- “treat it like you have several opportunity to impress them.” The prompts I felt were really unique, and were fun to think about. And even due to my nerves, answering the question more quickly than optimal, the proctors all had some great follow up questions that made it seem conversational. I hope you have a similar experience!
 
I got delayed decision notification today, but could be because my Casper score is still pending. Felt the interview went really well fwiw
 
Also got the delayed decision email today and thought my interview went really well. I guess we’ll just have to wait a bit longer and see
