2022-2023 UC - San Diego

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
Anyone who got the A accept their admissions offer yet or should we wait until the next email sent?
Is there a deadline?

Okay boys calm your titties...ucsd schedules interviews about a month out so don't go into catastrophe mode until March.

Does anyone know if there is an accepted students facebook page or anything?

Thanks to SDN members, donors and sponsors for a great forum! And so I'm often busy in plastic surgery here cosmetic practice!

To those of you that have interviewed, did you upload your thank you letter to the portal and broadly address it to admissions?

Has anyone that interviewed recently received an email from the Latino Medical Student Association club? From the way the email is worded, it sounds like I've been accepted, but interview decisions aren't supposed to come out until this Friday for my interview cohort. It seems a little weird for a student org to be emailing students that have not been accepted so I am confused.

I think I got it in the afternoon either the day before or the day before that. Stay tuned, it’s coming!

Hey when did you get you interview invite? I got mine in September 27 and the earliest date then was Dec 13th

Do y'all think for those of us getting decisions this Friday, since it's a holiday for UCSD, we will be getting them tomorrow instead?

Is anyone else dreading decisions coming out tomorrow?

Yah they did! They said rejections would go out as well, so it would cut down waitlist numbers

Yah in the past they waitlisted everyone who wasn't accepted - there were no rejections

Just wanted to give anyway peace of mind if possible! I received my UCSD secondary invite July 5th and submitted on July 26th. Then, I received my II on August 25th and completed it on September 29th. I received my offer on Friday, October 25th around 2 pm. It seems that rejections and waitlists are sent around 1 pm PST and acceptances are sent around 1:30-2 pm. All communication is sent via email.

That being said, here are detailed stats about my application to hopefully give you some hope and future applicants some insight:
Primary Submission Date: 5/31/22
Primary Processed Date: 7/01/22

As of 11/16/22:

DO Schools Applied To: 15
Secondaries Received: 54 (yes, I realize this was ridiculous)

Nor should it. You seem like a great fit for any school you want. I am very non-traditional with a lot of extra work under my belt and I appreciate your input.
