Deferred in december and never heard back. Withdrew yesterday.
yeah my guess is they'll take a few extra weeks before significant deferral movement considering they still have 4-6 weeks of initial decisions to makeDo u guys think deferred applicants will start hearing back next week based off last year? Seems like they’re still super behind on sending initial decisions
I interviewed march 14th and I'm kinda scared they won't get back to me before end of May...
same here! from last year it seemed like mid June is when March interviewees heard back 😅I’m in the same boat![]()

does paying the deposit = a commitment to going to drexel? i just got the A yesterday and i'm not sure what I should/shouldn't do if I'm still waiting to hear back from WL at other schools esp with the campus placement lottery being rolling
congrats! do you know when they interviewed and were deferred?s/o doesn’t have an account but got in from deferral yesterday, good luck y’all 🥳🥳🥳
not yet... interviewed 02/07Anybody who interviewed Feb 8th get any news?
Not 100% sure but when I interviewed late March they told us 8-10 weeks. So I’m not expecting anything for another month-ishmarch interviewees, when do you think we are going to hear back?
at least we're all used to waiting at this point haha. I just want to have a final decision back before July, so I don't have to rush my move. Not 100% sure but when I interviewed late March they told us 8-10 weeks. So I’m not expecting anything for another month-ish
For LOIs, who did you address in the letter and where did you all send them too?
Could we also upload it to the portal?Go to Medical School Letter of Intent Tips (2023-2024) | MedEdits
Here you will find a picture of exactly what your email should look like.
I would send the LOI to the dean of admissions & director of admissions, cc the admissions email address
Hope this helps!

i got the A 😭😭😭 literally cried from happiness yesterdaydear drexel,
pls just give me a decision i'm begging you
sincerely,
i just want to enjoy my summer in peace & know where i'm headed this fall (i have one acceptance right now but their commit to enroll deadline is 5/15 & i'm in waitlist purgatory with 4 WLs and no decision from drexel despite interviewing 2/7. pls drexel you're my top choice)
does anyone know how drexel feels about reapplicants? or if anyone's gotten an A after reapplying
that's so reassuring!! how early did you apply this year? given the reapplicant, ik earliest is best, but just wondering when you were "complete"I’m a reapplicant who did not get a II or hold from Drexel last cycle and got in early this year. I did talk about it during my interview. Idk how much this factored into my decision but I doubt being a reapplicant is seen negatively by them, prob more positively
I've talked to the deans about this in 1 on 1's, and they said it's "a blank slate" for each application cycle - direct quote. There's just too many applications per year to add more to their workload. That being said, your past applications are still in their system under your application profile (I've been in there before) so it's not like they're blind to it while in your application. If your interviewer is particularly spicy, they may even ask about it.does anyone know how drexel feels about reapplicants? or if anyone's gotten an A after reapplying
