M3 - I'm not doing the 3 yr track! Friends that did know where they are heading and don't have to stress quite as much for step 2 lol.

That’s so crazy!! Maybe they’re trying to get things moving faster now?? Idk why they would tell all of us that when I asked the other day if they weren’t trying to be honest with us ab how long it is to hear back 🥺
 
Just missed an 862 call so maybe an A??? They didn’t leave a voicemail and no response when I called back
 
Also wanted to ask… for current students at Hackensack, is it becoming more common to do the accelerated 3 year and go directly into residency or do the 4th year and do like a master’s or research year?
 
IS A interviewed mid Oct. missed the call though but they left a voicemail - how long does it take to show up in portal?

The ballpark number for my class is about 1/3 do the accelerated 3rd year.
 
Just got the A call last night! It came from an 862 area code (Nutley, NJ) at 6:30pm. Caller ID did not show up at HMSOM Admissions. I interviewed in early december and its been about 10 weeks. I just attended their zoom info session on wednesday, so maybe that helped!
 
Does anyone by chance know if this school likes letters of intent?? It’s my top choice so I was so excited about even just having an interview but it honestly doesn’t seem like many people have submitted updates or other letters. I know it def won’t hurt but I’m just curious! Ty for any info! 🙂

😩 Honestly I don’t know how much longer they can make you guys wait!! Most schools are supposed to be finishing up by March or April but maybe they’re really just that behind this year. Like I said before I just went to the admissions sessions though and they said they adcom meets weekly. Maybe they don’t go through a lot of people at their meetings?

For everyone that has interviewed, how quickly are you guys receiving decisions?
 
Has anyone attending admissions day tomorrow received a call to schedule their interview?
 
OOS II just now! LM 72, complete 8/1/23, continued interest 10/11/23... then forgot to submit my CASPER score until two weeks ago. lol.

ETA: I did send an update letter in early December if that helps!

Does anyone have any tips? I'm very confused and pleasantly surprised by this II!

+1 ii OOS LM 74 and also forgot to submit my CASPER. Also looking for tips and anyone's perspective on their "admissions day" process
 
I got an II last week and then this week received the "continued interest" email saying my application is still being considered for an interview. Should I be concerned?
 
I missed a post II call last Thursday 2/15 and haven't been able to get in touch with them or seen any update to my portal. How long did it take other people to get the acceptance email?

don't know for sure, but Hackensack has had a few email mistakes that I've seen like accidentally sending me a Hey firstname, lastname email so i'd guess it's just you were sent that email by accident!

Got the missed call on Friday and the email on Monday afternoon! Congrats bro /broette
