OOS II today also! So excited, this is my top choice school and I just sent an update letter about two weeks ago. Complete mid-August, LM 65.
What sort of stuff did you put in your LOA? Considering sending one but not sure what to put in and what to leave out

UVM was my top choice, so I had a letter I sent out to every school with about 3 small sections about the various activities I've done including new grades, and an extra "I love this school please send me an invite" section. I have some ties to the school via a program I attended this fall as well.

If you interview 08/30 and are still DD, is it likely over?

I interviewed early oct and am in the same boat. I stalked the 2022-2023 discussion and it looks like A LOT of people, even those interviewed super early, didn’t hear until late April and may which is kinda ridiculous. I’m hoping it’s not that late this year. The positive is there’s only A or WL from DD and the waitlist is really high turnover here 🙂

Oh wow i thought rejection was still possible. good to know ty

I had knee surgery shortly before my interview and got back to work 2 months ago. I haven’t really done anything new, not needed any classes, nor MCAT, just back at my scribing job and slowly getting back into my EC’s ie sports and stuff. Doesn’t seem like it’s anything spectacularly worth a LOA though Vermont is a big top choice of mine too since I did my post bacc there. Is it worth sending one? Or maybe a LOI? I’m currently on delayed decision status, interviewed 11/3, heard back two weeks ago. Thanks!

I don't think you need to do an update probably a brief letter of continued interest is fine by itself. I did that for one of my other schools. If you would def go I'd say send the letter of intent asap, if you're not 100% then wait until beginning of April to send if you get waitlisted

Honestly I think the only thing of value would be a letter of intent if you decide it is your absolute top choice. I wouldn’t send an update for personal health as I doubt that would sway their opinion at all (unless you had the surgery at UVMMC and it reaffirmed your interest in UVM)

Anyone know who was invited to the research webinar? All those who applied, interviewed, accepted, etc?
I attended the research webinar (I signed up for it on the UVM Larner website) and I haven’t received an interview yet. I think the webinar was available to anyone that was interested regardless of being interviewed or accepted.

How long were your responses to the campus preference essay post interview?

Based on my calculations, I'm thinking the 15th. But this is purely speculation to make myself feel better lol. I asked about a timeline a few weeks ago and they said mid to late February
Praying you’re right 🤞🏼🤞🏼 Last year they sent out the February wave like the 24 so maybe 15 or 22. This waiting is brutallllllll

Last few waves have been every three weeks on a Thursday or Friday. So could possssssibly be as early as the 8th/9th based on that. I'd say the 15th/16th is more likely though

Way more than 33 accepted, ppl just haven't joined the GC cause the admin haven't sent it out.

For those of you that submitted an update, did you just submit it through your amp portal and/or emailed to admissions committee? Thanks!

Not quite the same, but I had a to put in a change for the residence information on my secondary and they told me to do it through the portal. So I would assume they want their other updates through there as well.

I uploaded it to the portal and also sent an email to the admissions stating that I uploaded it and included contact info for my supervisors of my new positions, they responded the next day and just said thanks the committee will include it in their review

I have gotten, legit, like 7 emails inviting me to attend different optional student Q&As.... but as someone who is DD, I kinda feel obligated to go? Should I go to them or should I just keep ignoring them?

Admissions said they don’t take attendance and it’s for our own benefit to talk with students!
