Yes! They send out reoccurring student Q&A's so I am sure you can attend the next.

Also interviewed 12/1. I emailed admissions yesterday asking about a timeline. They said my app was scheduled for review this week and the decision would be released mid-late February

I think they do if you've interviewed... not 100% sure. But it sounds like they're making a decision this week so the sooner the better

It's not important whether you send one or not. They're formalities, not requirements. I surely didn't send one. Unless the school emphasizes them or has a 1-on-1 interview style, they're pointless imo (albeit kind).
