Does NYIT just randomly pick people on the waitlist to offer an A to or how do they go about doing this if it’s not ranked? Like is it by stats or when you interviewed or we just don’t know at all??

Hey yall! I just called the office and I was told that my post-II is going to be delayed (due to their part). I interviewed 2/10 for reference. She told me that I will be considered in the committee's gathering next month so I'll probably find out in mid- to late-March. Just putting this info out there in case it may help w knowing : )

Thanks for the info! Did you get a sense for whether this was specific to your case, or if others who interviewed around this time are also delayed?

I do want to ask has anyone heard back from adcoms that interviewed around 2/10?

Interviewed on 2/7. Looks like they sent out a huge wave of WL. Did I pretty much interview for a spot on the WL? Would love to hear from anyone who go an A after interviewing in February/Late January.

Did you just get a WL notif?

It seems like rn their class is full and will probably drop in the next few weeks to months esp with other schools releasing their decisions. I wouldn't be too concerned but ik it's anxious waiting for these decisions ;-;

Nothing, yet. Fingers crossed.
I'm in the same boat as you! I interviewed 2/10 and so far nothing. I called the office this week and was informed they're running behind and given people who interviewed around our date have also heard nothing they'll probably review our cases in March and let us know that month. Don't lose hope -- keep your head up future doc! : )

Recently received my waitlist notification for the Long Island campus and I am grateful for it. This is my top choice school and I plan on writing a Letter of Intent soon. I read that the letters should usually be addressed to either the Director of Admissions or the Dean of Admissions, or someone in a similar role such as Associate Dean of Admissions. The name of the Director of Admissions was easy to find. But after reviewing the emails from the schools, their website, and SDN/Google searches, I had difficulty finding the name of the Dean or Associate Dean of Admissions (if there is someone with that particular title). Can someone recommend the best individual(s) to address a Letter of Intent too? Should I address it to the Director Admissions? Or is it preferred to send it to someone in the "Dean" position, such as the Dean of the Long Island location, an Associate Dean (Student Affairs, Student Administration), or another individual? Sorry if I missed this information somewhere. I wanted to check here before emailing the Admissions Office since I imagine they are being flooded with calls and emails in general.

Should I send a letter of intent again if I sent one after my interview back in october and am on the waitlist ?
I feel like if you have an update to tell them or want to express further interest afterward, make sure to put something new or different from the last one : ) the fact that you sent one already is great and would be a good idea to do another!

Im not sure if this helps but you could contact [email protected], she's an adcoms rep or call the front desk (this is Arkansas campus), surely they could help give out an email for the Long Island campus too

I was marked complete in January and heard nothing so far about II. Any idea if they are still sending them out or when the next committee meeting is?

as far as ik, I called NYITCOM a week back and they told me they're meeting sometime this to next week. I had an interview back Feb 10 and still haven't heard anything. they said that they are a bit delayed on their part so im sure there's more IIs coming our way. hang in there!

My file from NYITCOM has been complete since June🙃 have not heard anything since. Not even from the email I sent to follow up. sigh

Interviewed yesterday, how long do you guys think I should be expecting to hear back in?
first of all congratulations 🙂 second of all the committee should be meeting around March 17 i think (what a representative said when i was OTP) so hopefully around then 🙂

Has anyone heard much about the guaranteed acceptance without MCAT offered at NYITCOM’s master bridge program?

Hey! I'm IS and have been marked complete since August. Have sent in 2 updates in the past two months and still haven't heard back anything for an II. stats reference: 3.5, 504. does anyone know if there's still a chance?

I think I missed this earlier in the thread, but is there a Discord or similar thing for accepted students? I'm looking for additional information re: housing and transportation plans. It'd be helpful if I could be directed to it!

Secondary deadline extended to May 1st. Still worth it to apply or would it be a donation?
