has anyone heard about recent acceptance decisions.
Does anyone know if people who are waitlisted still get accepted?
During my interview, they mentioned how they were able to accept everyone off the waitlist. Its something they’ve been able to do for the last few years if i remember correctlyDoes anyone know if people who are waitlisted still get accepted?
nope, still waitingHas anyone who interviewed on 3/18 heard a decision back yet?

yeah probably through this month. Last time i checked, they had interviews next week. Are they still interviewing?
I got a decision saying that I am an "Alternate Canidate"
Is that the same as waitlist or is that the alternate list?
i sent one the day after I was WL. When should I send another? This is the waitlist!
Make sure to send an LOI and they will move you to the top of the WL.
when did you get WL?D

I wouldn’t send another LOI post WL if you already sent one.D

you get added to a waitlist to switch campuses. Idk what the exact process is afterwards. Most likely after may 1stDoes anybody know when the campus changes happen? I've already submitted the forms.
So what does it mean if I still haven’t heard anything is that like a good sign lol
Do you know if students usually get the campus they want? Or is there very little movement?you get added to a waitlist to switch campuses. Idk what the exact process is afterwards. Most likely after may 1st
I think another applicant who was able to transfer will better answer that question. But what i remember from my interview was that they try their best to be as accommodating as possible.Do you know if students usually get the campus they want? Or is there very little movement?

That would be great, honestly. It'd suck having to move all the way to Clearwater when you already live in Ft. Lauderdale.Yeah I remember them saying this too!
It depends on how many students there are that would be willing to swap, but they try to do their best to accommodate everyone.
I just got my transfer to Ft. Lauderdale today. I emailed [email protected] and cc-ed [email protected] and [email protected]. The person who replied was the second email, but better safe than sorry. They will give you a campus change form to be submitted. It's only one page long. Make sure that when you're submitting, you've paid the $2k deposit, or it will not be considered. Submit the form to the same emails (just to be safe), and then you wait.anyone know the process for campus transfer from Tampa to FL? Who I need to email to get the forms?
how long did you wait? I just submitted mine yesterday!I just got my transfer to Ft. Lauderdale today. I emailed [email protected] and cc-ed [email protected] and [email protected]. I would think Tampa possibly has better rotation sites/connections due to proximity of TGH which is arguably the best hospital nationwide. Really good research opportunities there as well.Ive been thinking about staying at Tampa over Fort Lauderdale, I might ask them to pull my transfer application. I'm still on the fence because I want to find something with research and land a good rotation site. Do both campuses have equal chances of landing the core rotation sites? Anyone know how that process goes for rotation sites?
it doesn’t mention TGH on the websiteI would think Tampa possibly has better rotation sites/connections due to proximity of TGH which is arguably the best hospital nationwide. Really good research opportunities there as well.

Also I know a number of current students at the Tampa campus doing rotations over here (Broward/Palm beach county) and vice versa so I don’t think being a student at one campus limits rotation options since it’s the same program just with multiple campuses.Just by being a medical student u can get into a lot more things than u think. You can still go and try to network yourself by shadowing/doing research.
I submitted the form on 3/31, so about a month. Then again, I wasn't near the 5/1 waitlist movement timeframe.how long did you wait? I just submitted mine yesterday!
From what I understand, everything FT has, TBR has as well. One campus cannot have one thing without giving it to the other campus as well. Additionally, having lived in FT, I know that the area has several hospital groups; they do have several medical schools as well, however. I do not think FT would be lacking in rotation sites. Feel free to correct, of course.Ive been thinking about staying at Tampa over Fort Lauderdale, I might ask them to pull my transfer application.
