According to the MSAR waitlist pdf, there are 70 waitlist positions and 25 are typically accepted off, so roughly a 36% chance.

They call waitlists "post-interview holds"

They don't accept updates :/ If you go based on last years cycle track though (Penn State ) they consistently extend invites into March. This seems to be one of the most painfully slow schools based on my neurotic research lol. Best of luck and there are still multiple months ahead to possibly get an II I would say 🙂

It’s standardized, so they ask you the 5 questions, maybe a short follow-up. And that’s it. Not conversational at all, but it’s designed that way to eliminate any bias.
