not sure about the exact percentage, but i'm assuming the waitlist is going to start moving in a month or so. They interview all the way until April, so i'm sure we'll hear good news by then

Looking at past threads for UIWSOM it doesn’t look like the waitlist moves that much 😬 Since they’re interviewing until April, do y’all think it’ll be the same again this cycle? It seems weird they’d keep interviewing that long if the majority of the decisions atp are WLs. Also does anyone know for sure if their class is full by now?

Purely based on the thread from this year and last year. Hopefully you get an A!

It starts with Dean presentation and then tours/ interview! Pretty chill just know your app and I think it should go well!

How it played out last year was admissions offers were made in late March/early April, then some of those turned them down or switched to other schools, and offers to people on the WL started in early May

It is really unfortunate, it should not take more than 7 weeks to make WL or R decisions ( looks like those are majority now). Time/Money both wasted.

I called today and they said they’re waiting for the dean to (I guess) say they can release the decisions. But yeah, hopefully we’ll know on Sunday I think thats when they’re active based on what I’ve read here
