I called again and they said they are still waiting on the Dean to release the decisions and they aren’t forsure when that will be. So we just gotta be patient and wait on him!

Be yourself and enjoy the experience. They're nice and want you to be relax and be your best self. After your interview, purge whatever they said about when you might hear back from your brain. Do not come back here and look for answers. Don't speculate on when it will be or what something means. Don't pay attention to the speculation of others. You'll find out when you find out.

Enjoy your blessing, be present in the moment when it is happening, then patiently occupy yourself with other things until they contact you.

Everyone, It's Match Week for graduating seniors and the school's administrators are likely busy supporting their seniors who didn't match through the SOAP process and planning for the Match Day event on March 21st.

I was in the am group. I’m really hoping that I still get to go there. I had sent a LOI awhile ago after my interview. I’m not really sure now if I should send another one soon or not?

I say go for it. It won’t hurt to let them know you’re interested or at least a letter of interest (was the previous LOI an interest or intent letter)?

Waitlisted. Interviewed 2/10. I figured I would be as I was told after my interview that most seats were filled. But crossing my fingers because I was also told that they have accepted everyone off the waitlist before ! Praying for us on the waitlist !!!!

I got the A today - from a different school. Interviewing at other schools for the next 2 days. I expect to wait until late May.

It took them 8 weeks to send waitlist emails to everyone those interviewed after December, and everyone interviewed between August and December was accepted. This suggests the process was predetermined and not based on selecting competitive candidates. Why, then, they are still conducting interviews, especially since they're a private entity not reliant on external funding?

AACOMAS just sent this: "The 2024-2025 AACOMAS application cycle has been extended and will now close on June 13, 2025. Applicants should still adhere to each COM’s published deadlines, but please note that some schools may choose to extend their deadlines this cycle."

Does this mean we’re going to be stuck in waitlist limbo for more time

I don’t know, I didn’t see it mentioned in the AACOMAS newsletter that goes out 1-2 times a month.
Unless you hear from UIWSOM that they are extending the deadline, I think they will complete interviews in April as planned.

Okay just called UIWSOM admissions for updates on applications. They said that rn they're delayed and won't expect to inform us on a decision until early May
