Has anyone gathered anything useful from admissions calls and or emails? I would be willing to do call or email, but the only other time I did so, they were very generic and would not provide any numbers about relative class size and or waitlist movement and claimed they send offers out as they get withdrawals despite multiple emails being sent out at the same time.
 
Anybody wanna link the GroupMe? I don’t have Facebook but I thought someone mentioned a GroupMe for accepted students. Thanks!

You have to join the facebook, then the groupme link is there. You have to send a ss of your acceptance in order to join. They said not to post the groupme link anywhere for privacy purposes, that way only people with verified acceptance can join.
 
Anyone know the difference between the MCV HS Immunization Checklist and VCU Health Sciences Certification of Immunization in the transition to medical school checklist? The VCU Certification of Immunization is the only one with its own form attached to be filled out so not sure if both forms are within that one or...?

Ignore the checklist one, you don't need to worry about that, only do the certification one
 
Was anyone who got an A today holding a previous acceptance elsewhere? It looks like they only consider applicants with no acceptances starting in June
 
Just withdrew my OOS A off the waitlist (received back in May). Good luck to everyone else waiting! VCU was my only A just a week ago so I’m super excited for whoever this spot goes to 😊
 
Does anyone have any experience calling admissions? Who do you speak with and are they helpful with answering questions?
 
They are very nice but only tell you everything that you already know. They maintain they send out acceptances as they get withdraws and can’t comment on any specifics. Any specific data/stats they will direct you to email Dr. Jackson, but you will likely not get a response (I emailed twice with no response ever).

theyre very nice but you will literally not get anything from them. very vague answers. so there isn't really a point in calling
 
Just got in off the waitlist on Tuesday 6/10! In-state if that helps, with no other acceptances or waitlists. I'm still waiting on my BannerID, which is unfortunately preventing me from doing some of the onboarding paperwork that's due soon. Has anyone figured out how to resolve this issue, or should I just wait for the BannerID to autopopulate? Thanks in advance!

just wait a few days! i got in last tuesday and didnt get my banner ID until the end of the week
