When I was deferred in February, Dr. Smith told me majority of deferred applicants eventually gain admission. I heard back after deferred with over a month though on 04/03. I would email with a letter of intent or letter of interest to help show interest and you can also email to ask for timeline of when to expect to hear back maybe. God be with you 🙏you got thisss!

Does anyone know when we have to commit to enroll here? Is there a specific deadline? I’ve seen somewhere that’s it’s usually May 1st for DO schools but also depends on the school.

They will usually tell you in the acceptance email
 
At this point, I think I will withdraw my application and accept that this school essentially stole my money. No response since I submitted the primary on 5/11/24.

What a crummy thing to do, like at least give me the R so I can say my money went somewhere. I would understand not getting back to me after 6 months at most. We're literally almost at a YEAR now lmfao.

Never hurts to reach out for a status update! Saw somewhere that someone did that for all schools they hadn't heard from past cycle and got interviews from each one lol

Yeah, I thought about that, but the schools I got into are a better fit for me tbh, so I just wanted them to send the R lol.
 
Does anyone know when they’re going to go over deferred applicants this month?
 
Does anyone know when they get back about interviews? I interviewed last Wednesday.
 
Emailed admissions to withdraw my app. Zero response to any email asking about whether my primary was received. One of the few schools to actually ghost me ;(
