Can I send my final transcript whenever or has to be right after graduating. I might be going elsewhere and don’t see a point in sending rn but will if required

Hi! I’m in Davis (female hall with private bathrooms) and have opted to stay next year too. With Carey being a conservative school, dorm life is super chill and quiet. The opposite sex isn’t allowed beyond the lobbies so everyone is pretty much out of their rooms until midnight (when the lobby closes). Things we can’t have are air fryers and other large appliances. That doesn’t bother me since the dining hall has good food.
 
Hey current students. If I want a non campus apt when is the latest I can sign and not be cooked.

I think from what I read they only interview 2 groups of 4-8 applicants at a time so that probably help with a faster turn around time

can report that the folks I know living here really like it! It's off campus a little bit so less of the "undergrad" vibe though I'm pretty sure they still have to abide by at least most of the similar resident hall guidelines on gender/alcohol/etc. but someone will have to fact check me on that. but they are super nice with gated parking! max 5 minute walk from school. the neighborhood is definitely transitional, and I wouldn't walk there alone at night. but during the daytime you should be just as fine as you would be walking from your car to a parking lot. frankly these townhomes are closer to some of the COM buildings than some of the COM parking lots LOLOL

Also anyone knows how likely is it to be accepted or rejected after being deferred?

It was after the interview, they didn't say alternate list and he said it's not a waitlist either. They said it's a deferral of the final decision bc they need more time to reevaluate my application. They said also we should hear back mid-end of March so ig we will wait and see 🙏 I was just curious if anyone knew about chances but I think I just need to be patient loll

Did you get the email from them about reviewing applications? I got one on February 27th saying that were reviewing the applications of the alternate list.

Hi! Yes I got an email on 02/27 saying they will be reevaluating all deferred applicants over the next 3 weeks and to see if we're still interested in being considered for admission. Don't know if spring break counts in the 3 weeks or not though🙈 Not sure if deferred and alternate list are the same. Hopefully we hear back this week or next one 🙏
 
Is the alternate list like a waitlist or is that different? I don’t really get the difference between the two

How soon after submitting secondary app were you guys getting II? I submitted mine last week. Also, does anyone know the II acceptance rate?

Its high questions are online. You’re prob interviewing for a WL but there will be a lot of movement I just withdrew my A
 
What it me inappropriate at this point to call and ask when we will hear something?

For more context I received an email about 3.5 weeks ago, as did all the remaining applicants I believe, saying that they will be taking the next 3 weeks to review all our applications. They asked if you’d like to be considered or not to respond to that email and I did. So in theory this would be the week we might hear something in a perfect world. I have another interview coming up on Thursday in person. WCUCOM is my top choice currently and if I got an A from them today, I would likely cancel my other interview and just go on the trip and have fun!

So would it be inappropriate to call and say something along these lines? Would it make them feel like I’m trying to rush their decision or would it show initiative and interest in their program? Help.

To answer few posts above, Canadian applicant here, sent my application in the last week of feb and received an II within a week. I did my interview in first week of March (before they closed for March break) and in my interview I was told to wait for two weeks for decision (Normally is 1 week but 2nd is the march break). So, last week a few people here got their decision from the first week of March interviews and I was stressing for mine whole day Wednesday and Thursday and nothing came. I called the school on Friday, they said my interviewers couldn't attend the meeting on last Wednesday so I will have to wait another week. I also asked if they started working on deferred application (which was supposed to begin after their break) and they said no. Hopefully this week's decisions would include both.

I would wait or maybe email but don’t say the stuff about trip
